I can’t imagine a company putt in a stipulation that they’ll only be involved the guy whose booking makes the ratings worse is running things. Also, Nick Khan is a perfectly capable evil henchman who appears to be without a soul so why does Vince need to interfere.

@@mdurham2137 Creative has little do with the brand and business as a whole. Vince is a business man. These major company don't care much about the product. They care about the business and partnerships and relationships the WWE has. So Vince will always be involved because he has to be. So many companies wouldn't make deals with the WWE if Vince wasn't there.

Its hard to erase a superstar's history when the ppv's such as the Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania were centered around him. Heck, Benoit was Randy Orton's opponent at summerslam and if you squint in the video promo you could see Orton pinning Benoit. It really just causes more problems to other people involved when trying to erase Benoit.
