As someone who's been on both sides of the pretty/ugly fence, I can safely say that being considered ugly is definitely worth the peace. The attention from being pretty is superficial as fuck, people usually try to manipulate you (The whole "I interrupted your reading to compliment you out of nowhere so now you owe me a conversation/your phone number, and if you don't oblige me I may take it 110% personally and flip my shit at you regardless of your reasons or my overstepping boundaries" thing), and that's excluding stalkers and downright terrifyingly forward (Try an unblinking predatory stare while trapped on public transport) people. I love being "ugly". It's freedom and relative safety. And when you live like the only person you care to impress is yourself, well, that's the most satisfying part.

I was sexually assaulted by a guy I had met on a similar dating app who continued to text me. After much effort I have gotten him to stop texting me and constantly trying to come over. I should've called the cops, but I was too much of a coward to. Luckily, my wonderful boyfriend has helped me through it. Funny enough, I met him on Tinder as well. I have a theory about story number four. I work closely with men and women who have been sex trafficked in a sort of recovery/rehabilitation type occupation and this is a common way for sex traffickers to recruit prostitutes. when i used tinder almost two years ago i was pretty naive, not really thinking this sort of thing would actually happen. i met this guy back in February of 2017 and he after two weeks of talking he invited me to his house and my ass just went for it, i mean i waited at my car for him to walk out but who knows what could've been waiting for me inside that house.. luckily it was just his sisters, cat and parents.. oh the guy and i started dating like a week later (pretty soon i know) but now we're on our way to our two year anniversary.. so not all people on tinder are creeps, i mean i've got a wacky man loving me but he's the sweetest person and i wouldn't rather have anybody else. though these videos always make me wonder "what if"
