Are you planing on visiting Sweden? No? Well, you can learn a couple of Swedish phrases here anyway :D
This is part of a new series of videos I'm making based on Sweden, Swedish culture and tips for people who want to visit Sweden, or perhaps even move to Sweden. Narrated by me, a blonde Swedish man from Norway. No, Sweden.

My Swedish grandfather, Hilding Selin, (who came from the middle of Sweden by the Norwegian border where the Viking family name originated: he left Sweden at the age of 15) had A LARGE FARM and so, he decided to transform it into an 18-hole golf course, the first in Sault Ste Marie, between the two (2) Great Lakes: Lake Superior + Lake Huron divided by the Soo Locks. (A little bit of history related to his golf club that he sold to the Barsantis: it was called the Barsanti's Golf Course. It's now a 9-hole golf course renamed the Root River Golf Club.) ANYHOO ... on with my story. There was a hole where you'd hit your ball, but you could NOT see the green [that was surrounded on all three (3) sides by lots of trees] from where you teed off as it was BELOW THE HILL: the fairway was QUITE SHORT in length. (SO STRANGE, but true.) ONE NICE AFTERNOON, a trucker decided to play a round of golf there. He teed off at that particular hole, but, of course, he had no way of knowing where the ball had landed until he went down the hill + looked. My grandfather found the ball + placed it in the hole. The trucker came down to find where his ball had landed + looked, in vain, everywhere with no luck. He decided, as a last resort, to look at the hole on the green. AND THERE IT WAS. He was OVERJOYED. My grandfather found this SO HILARIOUS. This is how I leaned the Swedes have a fine-tuned sense of homour. (Ha!
