I enjoy how they made the narrator into a character. Him being a marine biologist documenting the events of Bikini Bottom from his submarine makes WAY too much sense.

I’ve seen Feral Friends. It was episode I never expected to see before where our favorite sea creatures transform into real life ones. And I think it was nice of Paramount to give Patchy and Potty a comeback after various seasons.

Spongebob in Randomland is a Kaz comic brought to life (he is the writer of many of the latest seasons so it makes sense to have an episode like this) There are so many references and cameos of his weird comic characters in this episode and it's just awesome. Also in 21:21 if you look closely on the top of the board you'll see his name written there (K=az²)

The dark tone, the alien sound effect, how serious Mr. Krabbs tries to sound while saying something completely silly, it all accumulates in a line that amazes anyone who sees it. I cannot decide whether to be in awe or just start laughing out loud. I guess I will do both. Good video by the way.

My theory being that “SpongeBob in RandomLand” was based on an episode of Warner Bros’ Looney Tunes called “Porky in WackyLand” (1938).

Gary's got legs was so wrong in every imaginable way. Especially because there is no Arc throughout the episode. As soon as Krabs rios the limbs off of Gary he turns back into how he was. It really put a blight on Gary's character in my opinion. It makes you think Gary literally doesn't care about SpongeBob at all and it's frightening and sad in the same way xD

If you love Squidward/SpongeBob team up episodes, I cannot recommend the recent episode “Bubblebass’ tab” enough. It’s easily one of Squidwards best episodes in maybe the entire series.

Dream hoppers reminds me of the earlier episode were spongebob went into everyone's dreams. Gary was portrayed as extremely intelligent so that adds more to his character development.

I’ve seen a clip of Dream Hoppers on KZfaq for the first time. And somehow I can’t help but be reminded of a Bugs Bunny/ Elmer Fudd cartoon where they chase each other. Or maybe the Heffalumps and Woozles scene from Walt Disney’s _Winnie the Pooh and the Blustery Day_ (1968).

I assume that the garbage doll in “Sanitation Insanity” is possessed like Charles Lee Ray transferring his soul in a Good Guy Doll in _Child’s Play_ . Fun fact: Child’s Play debuted in 1988 from MGM/UA whilst the sequels are distributed by NBC-Universal Pictures after United Artists was told by Qintex Entertainment Co. to not make more horror movies.

Doodlebob came back! I actually really love that they seem to bring back old background characters, characters that appeared for a few episodes in the first few seasons, or Mrs puff and Mr Krabs being together. Modern SpongeBob seems to be very interesting and very creative, and this video helped me realize that. I actually giggled a few times when watching this video, seeing the way they decide to take things in an episode.

Not a full episode but there's a part in one where Spongebob puts his nose on a leash and it yanks him out of the Krusty Krab and this couple sees and the guy goes "See? I told you this town was pet friendly" and the girl pulls out a leash and collar and asks "walkies?" And then he gets on all fours and she puts the collar on him and walks him. Edit : The episode is "the ballad of Filthy Muck"

Yes! I think that's mostly my biggest problem with the new seasons. They focus on being too "cooky and experiemental!!" without making jokes that are actually funny. granted better and flexible animation is always a good thing, but too much of a good thing can become a bad thing, to the point where every scene feels like they're being overused.

I actually love the Trash episode. It’s just refreshing because it’s not mind numbing or dumbed down for kids. Plus the animation team killed it with the garbage truck transformation. Trust me when I say it was animated amazingly.
