i have read the boy in the stripped pyjamas and i loved it. I have read the last two chapter attest a 100 times.... also perks of being a wall flower, kite runner and animal farm are one of my favs..

You make me realise there are so many books that are to be read. I have a lot of holiday homework not being able to read much. :( I really like Fierce Fairy tales(the cover is very pretty). I have read The Boy in The Striped Pyjamas I absolutely love it!! Thanks ma'am. :) Also, any plans of coming live? I like both tea and coffee. One of my friends told me that the perks of being a wallflower is very difficult in terms of vocabulary. ,Do you feel so? Oh I realized I have written quite a lot!! :P

Hi Saumya..This is not in relation to this video..actually u had recommended the book 'the girl with the dragon tattoo'in 1 of ur videos..it was only after u gave a description of the book that i really felt interested 2 read it...yesterday i finished reading it nd it is one of the bessst books i hav ever read..the plot was so gripping and characters so interesting...I just tuned in to say a big thanks to u for recommending that book... Loved ur perspective on perks of being a wallflower. I read it 2 months back but did not see it like you saw it. I guess different people see same book in different ways & even the same person can find the same book new at a different time in life.

I have read animal farm and it was really very good , I think everybody should read it once in their life but you have to know the history of Russian Revolution to fully understand it because it's a satire on communist revolution in Russia

Great recommendations Saumya! I don't like the idea of asserting female dominance by retelling old tales and converting their roles into something totally opposite of the original. Don't get me wrong , I definitely stand up for us women, but not by changing words but by changing our acts. And, I used to be a coffee lover. Now I avoid both coffee and tea :)

Fierce Fairytales, as I mentioned, changes the constantly dependent on others, damsels in distress into independent and strong women and I loved that spin. And of course, acts matter more but words matter too I think because they have the power to inspire people to act. :))

Yes. That happens. Some people are becoming psuedo feminists to garner audience. Also, not just feminism, every other social issue has this section of people who "believe" in the cause because of ulterior motives. But personally, I didn't encounter that in this book. To put it simply, this book made me feel good and that's why I recommended it :)

The Boy in the stipted pyjamas was a story which was in my 9th standard and when I read this story, I can't let myself without Completeing and then I ordered this book and read it in one stand and literally I was crying. This story is full of emotions and cruelty of Hitler for Jews 😒😒
