Complete disagree with Rogers Centre ... the playing surface HAS been changed, attendances dipped in 2018 due to the rather obvious tanking of the team. Easy to access, staff are friendly, it's still modern by today's standards. Maybe you ought to a see a game there before you judge.

There is plenty of parking at Marlins stadium, you can park in front of someone's house from 10 dollars and up, but you better speak spanish... I like that you walk around the stadium and have the best views. I like to buy the cheap tickets and then sit down on one of the dinning tables on the 2nd floor, you can watch Miami lose and have a bite to eat.. I use to have a hookup for free tickets, but Jeter had to fire the mascot and that was the end of my 10 year hookup, he was a friend of a friend who got us tickets..

Despite the Rays not coming until the late 90s, Tropicana Field was actually first completed in 1987 in an attempt to lure an MLB team there. Before they finally got one, the odd exhibition game was played there, and even the NHL's Tampa Bay Lightning used it as a temporary home for a couple of seasons until their current arena was complete.

I disagree with a couple of your picks. Marlins Park has a retractable roof, retractable windows behind the left field wall with a view of Downtown Miami, a couple of fish tanks behind home plate and a club with a swimming pool! It's one of the better stadiums in baseball. The Rogers Center's field isn't that great, but the stadium itself is pretty good. It features a hotel that's apparently open throughout the year.

"Nobody watches baseball in Tampa" It's actually the opposite. The Rays have some very strong TV ratings. So people watch them, just not in person. But they also play in St.Pete so you can't really actually watch MLB baseball in Tampa anyway unless it's spring training. lol.

I certainly agree with Tampa Bay's baseball stadium. Although I definitely had a fun attending games there, it's in not particularly desirable area. The roof makes fly balls an adventure like you said. The sightlines are so-so. But a dome or retractable dome is mandatory in Florida with all the rain they receive.

I loved the Rogers Center ! Great view when the roofs open, fun bars/restaurants overlook the field, seating was pretty darn comfortable, wide concourses, the food was pretty good as well. We saw the Jays play the Orioles so it was a pretty loud, boisterous, energetic crowd ! Staff was good, location great and easy to find.

With the 2028 Summer Games returning to LA I would think the LA Coliseum will get some major renovations. It can still seat tens of thousands of fans for the Opening and Closing ceremonies and track and field. So it would be foolish to build an entirely new stadium. That is unless renovating the LA Coliseum would cost more.

I'm shocked by The Rogers Centre choice (Skydome) but definitely understand the artificial turf argument. If they change that, no problem. I'm shocked by what I'm hearing in Ottawa with the Senators. A change could do them good. Tropicana Field (Sundome and no that's not referencing Hulk Hogan's head and hairline. By the way he is a huge Tampa Bay Rays fan) is God awful. Thank God they are getting a new ballpark. As for Washington, it's a good thing they have Nationals Park. As for the Minnesota Timberwolves. They should consider moving into The Xcel Center in St. Paul with the Minnesota Wild.

As a Tigers fan going to Comerica Park during a day game is brutal, upper deck is also miles away from the field. It has a great location downtown with a nice skyline view, however it' doesn't offer much else from over doing it with the tiger sculptures outside the place to the center field fountain that shoots out water.

Unpopular opinion: I live outside of Tampa and I loved Tropicana. Turf is new and nice, navigating the stadium is easy, parking is awesome, and yeah the white dome is weird, buts it’s unique

Levi's Stadium is horrible. Millions of miles from anywhere, one side is entirely sky boxes, and the other side for fans is in full sun and regularly gets up into the 90's. For FOOTBALL!

I live in St. Petersburg and have been to Tropicana Field many times in my life, it’s a big part of my childhood going to see the Rays play in the dome (I’m 18 years old), I don’t necessarily hate it, but I can see why others hate it. Now I do want to mention, in the 2019 season they added multicolored lightning to the roof of the stadium to make it look much cooler, and you can even see the lights from outside the stadium at night when on the interstate. But I can see why the stadium has been hated, as it has pretty low attendance, but fun fact, before it was used as a baseball stadium, it was used for hockey and arena football, and even holds the NHL record for highest attendance for a playoff game on April 23rd, 1996. Really the only complaint I have about the stadium is it’s a bit outdated, but it’s always going to hold a place in my childhood.

I would rather go to an outdoor baseball game at the Oakland Coliseum than an indoor baseball game anywhere. And the A's aren't planning to relocate. They're trying to find another place in Oakland to build a stadium.

For baseball, Oakland used to be really nice until Mt. Davis. A lot better than Candlestick (which really wasn't that bad for football, but it was awful for baseball).

Oakland Coliseum is god awful for Raiders games, but the huge foul area makes for some great outs during A's games. A's management have actually improved it a lot for the fans with an park like section with games and food trucks, an area known as the tree house that is just an awesome hangout, and the Shibe Park Bar that has a huuuuuuuuuuuuge selection of drinks on tap. Best part of baseball at the Coliseum is there arent actually any bad seats, even the 3rd deck seats are behind home plate and come with $6 concession vouchers in the tickets.

There is a owner of a team who once said about the idea of renovating a stadium suggested by local city politicians, "it's putting lipstick on a pig". There are too many stadiums or arenas that just needs to be demolished and start over again.

If the Montreal Expos still had a team and still played at the Olympic Stadium than they had a good shot of being number 1. It was made for the 76 Olympics and was not designed for football or baseball. The Blue Jays play exhibition games there every year. Plus the stadium was built in 76.

Now I never been to a hockey game before but the Wizards game, concerts, WWE, etc, make real great experiences for the fans that attend. Plus its one of the largest venues in the world. being from Detroit, I think Comerica Park is pretty lousy considering it replaced a classic that opened the same day as Fenway. Despite talks of building a new ballpark for years, it looks like it was haphazardly rushed and did the bare minimum of seats and offices, unlike every other baseball stadium since Camden Yards. So Comerica comes along and has too gradual a pitch of the seating bowls, the backstop is much further so even the best seats aren't that good, the upper level is too high up because it's stacked on top of 2 levels of suites, it feels like a sauna on day games. Each outfield looks pretty much the same so it feels more like a cookie cutter park of the 60's than the retro era it opened in. With the 2 carnival rides and half assed center field fountain, it feels more like a venue intended for a new expansion team than a sports history rich city like Detroit. The only plus side is that it is right in downtown Detroit, near plenty of public transit options and other attractions so it's unlikely the Tigers will ever want to move to a different location. But it's not a good sporting venue and I really hope the Tigers consider extensive modifications like what has been done to Dolphins Stadium or the Florida Citrus Bowl.

I know of one that is a great stadium and it's in Denver Colorado ___ the new Mile high Stadium; I got to work for the games and concerts held at the old field years ago; have gone back to see it in 2016 and it still brings back memories of being there; used to live 16 blocks away I miss it now; live in Nashville Tennessee. But still good memories
