I think WrestleMania IX gets a bad rap for having one really bad match, and then for Hogan's bullshit use of creative control, on what was otherwise a serviceable PPV.

WM XI is worse. Mania 9 has a really good match with Luger & Perfect, Steiners vs Headshrinkers is good, and HBK vs Tatanka is DECENT. I can't even say nearly as many good things about Mania 11. There's damn near nothing worth watching there.

O Aleatorio the styles vs jinder match was garbage KO and Zayn vs nakamura and Orton while not bad was random, Charlotte vs natalya was like the terrible reboot of the match at extreme rules and don’t get me fucking started on breezango vs 2b. The only good part was the fatal 4 way tag match

I think it was the catalyst that showed the Survivor Series format didn't quite work anymore. Even in 97, the Survivor Series Elimination Matches were the low points of the show, even without the screwjob. 98 didn't have SSE matches at all, so we then get to 99 where we try to bring it back. The only thing that made them work was the excellent tag team scene we had at the time (namely the Hardy's, E&C, Dudleys, Acolytes, Too Cool, and more).

K1productions Sometimes the Elimination Matches have been terrible but that's the whole reason for the name of the PPV. If they got rid of that format it would be just another PPV with matches on it. I understand what your saying though.

Da'Bones Have you been? The Royal Rumble was great, and the two rumbles were two of the best in history. Elimination Chamber was an average PPV, Fastlane was easily the best Fastlane PPV so far. The first 3-4 hours of Wrestlemania were fantastic, and we had some awesome matches and great moments. Backlash was shit, but every year has a shit PPV. We have also had some amazing TV matches. Plus NXT has been phenomenal.

C'mon, WM31 was great compared to what it could've been. Daniel Bryan becomes Grand Slam champion, that epic RKO, Seth cashing in and a good match between Lesnar and Reigns. Admittedly it had bad parts like Sting VS Triple H and the 20 minute Rock and Rousey segment but it was a pretty good show. Not the best but pretty good.
