I liked Bo Dallas. He was screwed all because Vince didn’t understand his character. Bo reminded me of Mr. Perfect or Kurt Angle where they’re trying to be an “inspiration” when really they’re just obnoxious & the crowd wants to see their face get kicked in. It works!

Giving Ronda Rousey an Undefeated streak only created the idea that a WWE wrestler couldn't beat a former UFC fighter. Which was a really stupid idea on WWE's part.

Especially because she was terrible in the ring. One of the worst ever. Male or female .it wasn't just because she was an mma fighter it was because of her name too. Also that fact that she trained for 6 months in her 3 years with wwe. Plus she quit and left for 3 years too. Sat at home doing nothing. She didn't even train when she was getting ready to return.

The scariest part about this is if you listen to shoots from Vito, he thinks people cared, and a lot. He's stated he was "the most over gimmick in WWE" and "the most recognizable athlete in the world at the time." He brags about this winning streak where he beat guys like Super Crazy, Simon Dean and Brooklyn Brawler. He even claims he was going to win the belt in 2006 from King Booker until Undertaker and "backstage politics" prevented it. You can't make this up. I don't understand why some guys can't just know their role. We need a distinct card from top to bottom of franchise players, main eventers, upper midcarders, lower midcarders, and jobbers. In a scripted sport, there's nothing wrong with being on the lower end of that spectrum.

No he wasn't. He literally had no "character". All he did was glare menacingly, yell "ICHIBAN!!!!" before his finisher, and that was it. He didn't get over as Tensai back in Japan, he got over as Giant Bernard which was just an extension of his own personality. This is the same stupid mistake WWE has done so many times with Foreign/Indy/NXT talents: sign someone who made a big name for themselves with an interesting gimmick, and then erase the gimmick and any sense of personality they have to make them a generic monster heel/smiley babyface. And yet they're shocked when fans don't care.

Repackages happen all the time especially since Bloom was gone for like 7 years in All Japan and New Japan. Plus they did reference him when he was Albert.

I'd put Wrath on this list. He was undefeated for a long time in WCW, yet he was never moved up the card. They never really even acknowledged it until they had Kevin Nash beat him in his feud with Goldberg just so he could say he took an undefeated streak on the build to that match.

#2 ~ Nope! The company didn't give up on him. Common knowledge at this point that Shawn Michaels, back when he was an obnoxious excuse for a human-being, spoke with Vince and got him to give up on the guy's push. Ruining his career. #1 ~ He would have been better off staying in Japan where he was successful, and the fans there actually respected him.

You're right about everyone EXCEPT Rusev/Miro. Cause that Character was hot and Miro to his credit, actually for a short while gave a new wrinkle to the Tired Russian (er Lithuanian) heel even though the whole presentation was out of Rocky 4. It was so good he even became bigger with Rusev Day

@@night6724 but here's the thing: they tried to market RusevMiro as the modern day Nikita Kolloff, Even Lana/CJ was billed as the Ravishing Russian and for a short while WWE would show big pictures of Vladimir Putin on TitanTrons and Rusev and Lana pledged their allegiance to Putin,but the Fans and WWE thought it was In BAD taste. SO miro/Rusev became "Bulgarian " after a month. Not to seriously pass off WWE's "Global Audience "

@@Filmation77 No Rusev was always billed as a Bulgarian he was literally called the Bulgarian brute and has a tattoo of Bulgaria on his arm. He just pledged his loyalty to Russia and Putin. Even when he was billed from Russia he was billed as “Residing in Russia” rather than “From Russia.” As for Lana yeah that’s a fabrication although she was raised in Latvia SSR when it was still part of the Soviet Union and apparently knows some Russia. Plus most people think Russia and USSR are interchangeable anyways

I actually cared about Lars Sullivan. When he first popped up in NXT around 2016 I remember, I was a mark for him. I wanted to see him succeed. I didn't think he was just another big man. He was for sure different. He had that thick gorilla look and a heelish face. His attire was fine for his gimmick. I think they wanted him to come off as a bit of a Herculean George Steele type, but without the weird mannerisms and turnbuckle biting. He was a more intelligent George Steele that was physically fit. He wasn't bad in the ring either. I'm not sure where you get that from. He made it look good in there. So that one I will disagree with fully. The rest I agree fully.

Absolutely hilarious/ridiculous that they didn't want Tank Abbot being WCW Champion, but then David Arquette became champ. Talk about a sinking ship. Also Borga had a lackluster win streak. Borga's match with Tatanka was actually undefeated vs. undefeated, and Borga's streak would be ended by pushed to the moon Lex Luger at Survivor Series.

Aged terribly? I wouldn't want to fight a dude in a dress either lmao. No disrespect Vito. I thought Vladimir Kozlov was cool. I don't recall ever seeing anyone hate on Rusev's undefeated streak. If anything people were whining online about Cena breaking it. Also Crimson was badass. I loved him growing up. He was introduced as Amazing Red's little brother lol. Lord Tensai could have been a top heel but fans messed it up. They literally ruined Matt Bloom's comeback.

Lord Tensai was the worst. I remember anticipating some huge Japanese badass after seeing the video packages, then he arrived and had a cool entrance, and then... it was Albert. It went beyond disappointment into embarrassment territory. People were either like, "Wait - that's a white dude? The hell?" or, "Not this bozo again..." Maybe a few people were excited to see him, I don't know.

I'd put Hook on this list because really he'd been undefeated for quite some time and he did win a title but during the streak what had he done to impact the AEW landscape what do we even know about this guy and who has he even defeated I mean it's just I don't know it like the bland leading the bland.
