On other note. What now I say I do not mean as judgement but I have to state a fact. - Jihadist rely on fear of their deeds. - If you show them you are feared they win first round. If you stand in true understanding of word of Yeshua and live as he said. You won't have nothing to fear. Which if fact DW I love and appreciate you very very much. You do that and you have there for blessed with many successes. This one is sad but I feel that I still have to say it outloud as it is the truth and it might save your or your loved ones life. Jihadists know that martyrs fuck their thing up. If someone that is widely loved by the community they are afraid to touch you. They of course could then try to get people that are close by you but as said know that publicity is also a guard. Here is an interesting nugget I disovered a while back. There are two other deities called Ala. One is the goddess Ala that the Igbo tribe in Nigeria have been worshipping for millenia. Her symbols are the crescent moon and the python. She is a fertility goddess that holds dead ancestors in her womb. The second Ala is a female mythological creature recorded in the folklore of Bulgarians, Macedonians, and Serbs. It is believed they appear as snakes or dragons during storms and are the cause of destruction of crops, and sometimes try devouring the Sun or the Moon, causing eclipses (crescent moon).

I just did an interview with a Pakistani ex-Muslim who was beaten severely by Muslims and spent days in the hospital because British police refused to help him or protect his family. He's suffered permanent injuries. He moved to a different area, so that his family would be safe. My late husband and my parents were born in Pakistan, but my siblings and I (and our children) were born in the UK, but despite being in a non Muslim country, it’s NOT safe for us ex Muslims (like my sister and I - she left Islam in her late teens, whilst it took me until I was in my mid 40’s to leave) when living in an area which is largely Muslim, particularly Pakistani. It depends on where you live. I’d feel safer if I was living in a posh white area (like my sister).

Me too. Trouble is, they wouldn't be the ones illegally crossing the borders. They would have to apply and get accepted and take classes and pass the test... I've known people to become US citizens and it took about 10 years. The rule followers will do all that, meanwhile those who won't follow the rules will find their own way in. I advocate faster and better citizenship process, at the same time stricter border control. Make it easy to do it legally, make it hard to do it illegally.

debate of the quran copies is difficult cone. It can backfire on the basis that muslims would actually know the copies and their consistensies among others. Hence if there are many copies that are mainly same it proves that at least most of Quran is true. However that the Qurans were burned and that the people have to write down own copies of quran. Only proves that people wanted to reserve the word that they had. This actually may prove that Allah words are unchanged. If there is any truth to Quran and the same geological origin and important events. It means that Quran does have holy words. It would be therefor intresting to make crossrefernce to all the qurans and see which bits are same for say 99% of them. As Yaweh words wont change.

You said "if there are many copies that are mostly the same, it proves that the Quran is at least mostly true." If I write a fictional story, and many people copied that fictional story correctly, that does not make it mostly true. It means the copiers were good at their job. That is what it proves. When these guys bring up small differences in letters and words between the different qurans, it is NOT in order to say "look, the copiers weren't perfect at copying, therefore the Quran isn't true. " They bring it up to counter the claim that Muslim dawah guys often make: "every copy of every Quran is exactly the same with no change at all, and this is a miracle and proves that Quran is true." Showing the differences proves that it is not miraculous and the dawah guys are lying. But it is not saying that copyists make your story true or false by how good they are... is that what you are trying to say?

@@pants_schmants Honestly I have problem with bits of bible as well. I understand that you cant agree as where you stand but I state this anyway. Paul is controversial character in the bible and the fact that rome that took christianity as it religion handled copying and distributing the bible. Also I am not sure if we are completely understanding who dropped what books from the bible. And what has been taken away or altered by "translation". In sense of the above I think that Islam is more honest in sense that people that quote Quran say that allah gave the word in their language and that it has to be read on that language. For example there are many places where allah speaks as "we". I am not sure but this sounds completely weird in english but can have meaning by itself in arabic. As westeners do not understand it we mock and laugh even it can be completely senseful in arabic.
