1000 Rapid Tests To Be Conducted Daily As Promised By The Department Of Health

San Juan, Puerto Rico - April 14, 2020 - Puerto Rico Coronavirus: The Health Department did not report deaths from the COVID-19 coronavirus on Tuesday for the first time since March 28, so the number of deaths associated with the disease in Puerto Rico remained at 45. Meanwhile, the COVID-19 confirmed cases increased to 923, 20 more than those reported yesterday. 1000 rapid tests will now be conducted on a daily basis.

This is great. I'm so glad that Antibody Testing is becoming available. Good news in my book. I think I'll wait a little for 2 reasons. First, to hear feedback regarding accuracy percentages. And second, to think about going to a lab and how they handle the social distancing issue. I'm not keen on sitting in a waiting room, rubbing shoulders and breathing recirculated air with 10 others, even with my mask and gloves on. We'll see how it goes. Great news, appreciate it. Thank you for your update. Also, happy the curfew is reverting back to 7pm. As always, continuing health and safety...

I am in the middle if my move to the island. My moving company here says it's working but I wonder if they are there on the island???

Virginia Smith, wow, what a time to move. Moving is always difficult. But, you'll see, after the dust settles, you are going to love living in PR. I came from Manhattan in 2020. On a flight back to NYC for training in 2006, a fellow trainee said to me "you're going home again". That's exactly when I realized 'no, I'm not going home, Puerto Rico is my home'. I had never conscienciously thought about 'my home' before hearing his offhand comment. You will soon experience for yourself the differences. Thrilling and pleasing. Welcome, Virginia. Wishing you a relatively painless move and setteling in... As everywhere during this Pandemic, continue being safe and healthy, always....

@@valereehansen1277 yes. I have lived in PR before for a year. I been trying to get back since I left. PR is my home, my family. I just a little stressed about moving with everything going on. My moving company here, UPOD, says they're essential here but not sure about PR side of the company considering the governor is doing a much better job with the lockdown than here in the states. I been at home for almost 7 weeks trying to avoid the virus so I can travel hopefully the beginning of May. Thanks for the encouragement and stay safe.

Which part of the island did you settle? I lived in Orocovis before but moving to a rental in Auguada while I house hunt.
