A game like this could be great, it just needed some fine tuning. Hopefully ZUN tries another game similar to this, it could make for something brilliant. Maybe Alice's dolls go missing and she has to get them back or something? And each one can assist in attack, defense, or points collecting? I also like your style of video. To the point, funny, yet informative.

It's still funny how Takane inmediatly surrenders before the last fight, and yet Marisa forces her to fight so she can beat her up and mock her about not surrending before. Truly one of the Touhou final boss fights of all time.

This is probably my favorite spin-off game, it was very fun to play. I really like the roguelike aspect which is emphasized even more than in UM. Even though the game has quite a few issues, I really enjoyed playing it. A second Touhou game like this a little more refined, i wouldn't say no.

A really fun way to play is start with the Nitori chaos prices card and the Mike card and buy whatever nonsense is available cheap. Resulting in some hilariously stupid combos.

The Ability Card Mechanic Reminds Me of Digi Modify

Sorry this is going to be a full paragraph explaining my thoughts but there is a lot I'd like to mention about stuff you brought up in this video, so this is just a warning for the wall of text that below. Something I don't think many people realize about this game is that it's a rougelike, whether by intentional design or not, and as such it has to fall into 1 of 2 schools of build design logic, those being strong yet balanced(like Enter the Gungeon) or break this game over your knee(like Binding of Isaac or Risk of Rain). It seems like this game takes the latter approach to build design so people who complain about a certain build being op is a misguided viewpoint, at least to me. Another thing I'd also like to mention is that there is simply the option to NOT go for the same kind of builds and experiment with wacky and funny combos, no matter how much they might suck or be sub-optimal which I imagine a lot of people didn't think to consider, at least from what I could tell as an outsider to the Touhou community. I would also like to mention that ZUN has given us a LOT of tools for us to use to have fun and experiment with stuff in this game considering how many starting card slots you have in this game and the sheer variety of card abilities, and I doubt he thought people would always resort to the same build type considering the RNG factor of this game. Anyways rant over, again sorry for the paragraph but I wanted to share my thoughts on this. The heavy emphasis on the Aunn and Urumi combo did rub me the wrong way so that did add to a lot of what I talked about. Overall I thought this was yet another great video by you and I'm excited to see what you make next.

It's sad to see how much hate this game gets as probably one of it's biggest fans. Like 100th Black market has it's issues, it was clearly rushed to some extent, but it still shines in many aspects. Among the less contested once being the music and cards. Among all of the spin-offs completely or mostly made by zun, this game has like my favorite soundtracks(Impossible bullet comes second and Violet Detector third) and i've seen so much baseless hate, which i'm expecting comes from just people who hate the game and want to hate anything associated with it. The cards on the other hand, are my favorite touhou thing ever. There's like only 41 characters from the windows-era main games not represented in them, which is a pretty big accomplishment knowing how many characters there are. And all of the card art is so good! Most of the card mechanics are also pretty good, at least for the systems thous games went with(besides Aunn exploit, who I'm super glad I only found out about after having beaten the game and having collected most cards.) The gameplay mechanics, while it could be expanded upon, are very solid and satisfying. Not an improvement from UM, but another experimental take on the same formula, which is fun.(though as long as you don't treat the magic circle like a bomb or a season release) Also, while i'm absolutely in the minority on this, since i actually like grinding(when it's not an rpg type of grinding), I tracking each and every card down and getting them to my ever growing collection!(The rainbow dragon cave is the worst portion of the game though, but it's manageable if your goal is to beat every boss in an area before moving to the next one) It's not my absolute favorite touhou game, it probably ranks somewhere near the middle for me, but I certainly wouldn't call it bad. It offers it's own unique and fun experience like most of the spinoffs do and i think people should give it another look(and ignore the aunn card beyond obtaining one of them). Anyways, tldr. !00th blackmarket isn't that bad and can be quite fun(especially to us who like collecting shiny things), ability cards are based and the ost is way underrated. (Also also, It's the reason why Marisa got to be another canon route for a main game, so it's based just for that reason :3)

This game overall just felt strange and all over the place with it's design not knowing what it wanted to be. The random enemy waves often didn't provide much excitement beyond the unpredictable progression. When you've played through the game, there is also not much else you can do to get replay value out of it given there is no score or... ironically.. no replays. While the game wasn't the worst in my eyes, it was certainly the least memorable of them. It just came and went as you mentioned in the video. Also omg (2:19) cameo! Looking forward to the PC-98 video.

2:19 Mom I'm on KZfaq! I love roguelikes so I was massively let down by this game. In short I think this game should have: - made you play all the stages in a row - let you buy cards at the end of the stages instead of after every section - better card balancing and less card bloat - more enemy variety - better and longer bosses instead of easier versions of already existing patterns or obviously unfinished patterns (looking at you Megumu, Tsukasa and Crown Peace) - more bosses As it is, the game doesn't have any replayability once you played through it once. Playing a 2-4 minute long stage just isn't as exciting as doing a full Touhou run. This game is obviously trying to be a roguelike, but it kind of just fails on it's face on step 1 by making every stage separate.

It is an okay game ngl Oh also,the reason why MS is in lower rank than 100BM is because it is literally like LLS but with characters being changed, although the music and patterns of MS is much better than 100BM,I mean i can listen to(treacherous maiden~Judas kiss)for years,but I cannot listen to(bulletphilia)for over than 45 minutes.the bosses are also really boring in 100BM like why they are in this game?no clue,why don't they have a new attack?no clue on that either

The bullet visibility is awful. It doesn't have a lot of content for the price. The boss position marker doesn't even function properly. Most cards either do nothing or auto-wins when you get certain combinations. There is basically no stage design and nearly everything outside of the brief boss fights is lazy RNG-vomiting. Some patterns are outright unfair like one of Chimata's attacks spawning bullets on top of you. I mean, a free flash game from over 10 years ago (Bullet Heaven) has better level design, more shottypes and a better emphasis on the "Upgrade" aspect among other things. This game is bad.
