I love the scratchy animation style from this era. 8:14 yep, that was Lady on the street, and Tramp was on top of the truck driving by. Also, Jock was the Scottie barking up the drainpipe, and two of the dogs from the pound could be seen in the pet shop window. We had a Twilight Barking where I grew up out in the country, one dog would start and it'd continue all down the road 🐶

Definitely check out the live action version of this with Glenn Close. Shes an outstanding Cruella

Rod Taylor did the voice of Pongo. He starred in quite a fer period movies, including "The Birds". I first saw this at the drive-in in my onsie jammies along with my Mom, Dad, and big bro when I was a little guy. We had popcorn from home. It was my first movie. Great memory.

You should really watch the live-action version staring Glenn Close, she really brought Cruella to life. Also... I highly, HIGHLY recommend that you watch Lucifer. It absolutely amazing. Please give it a go.

The 1996 version is among one of my all time favorites and Glenn Close is just stunning! No other actor has ever brought a cartoon character to life like she did with Cruella De Vil. You’ve got to see it!❤️

There is a sequel to this called, “101 Dalmatians: Patch’s London Adventure.” That will give you more information on what happened with Cruella, and a bit more story to Patch!

Without a doubt one of my favorite Disney animated classics, for it's characters, music and a fantastic villain in Cruella De Vil. It's crazy to think that it's been 60 years since the original animated film came out and 25 years for the Live-Action Remake starring Glenn Close.

I read that after 101 Dalmatians came out people wanted a Dalmatian. We had 3 Dalmatians. First one daddy got from a coworker..We had to give her to my uncle since we couldn't handle her. I had 2 .I didn't get them because of the movie. I have always been attracted to Dalmatians.

This was one of my absolute favorites when I was little, I still love it :) Truly a cherished classic that deserves more attention. Great reaction :)

Girls you should really watch Hunchback of Notre Dame! It's amazingly dark but I think you'll love it! I consider it to be one of Disney best movies, up there with classics like Pinocchio and Fantasia and the other Renaissance films, Like Aladdin and Lion King!

My very first suspense thriller!

Good old 2D animation, and the sketchy style of that era adds its own character.

I've seen this movie multiple times and only now did I realize that the man thought his dog mated with many other dalmatians and that's why there are a lot of puppies. lol

Despite being more of a “cat person” (having grown up around them) I always loved this Disney movie. I dare say it’s underrated these days especially with how much a Frozen and Moana they shove everywhere. Aristocrats is a similarly old and classic Disney movie which is even more obscure these days.

The old cartoons are plenty of reality mixed with the fantasy. Today everything is less threatening and always works out. It’s like the darkness in old cartoons was used to teach universal life teachings and universal life skills. And today’s teach viewpoints and move the story along.

Now you definitely gotta check out "Cruella" with Emma Stone.

Hope this isn't a spoiler, but Lucky's U shape is supposed to be that of a horse shoe, hence the name Lucky and in the live-action movie it's made clear he was the one that nearly didn't make it in the beginning, thus adding more meaning to his name.

I'm surprised Cruella still has her driver license, unless she's driving illegally and for some reason the police never catch her or pull her over. Maybe afraid of her family's name and money?

They make it seem like in the beginning that Pongo's judging by beauty standards. However, dogs have sixth sense for people's characters and Pongo can tell almost instantly if the pair is right for them. The appearance part was just had for comedy and amusement. If Anita and Pretty looked like that first (largely unrealistic) pair, Pongo would still know if they were the right ones regardless of appearance and beauty perspectives. Cruella could've been a the most gorgeous, perfect beauty standards on the outside, but Pongo would've still known instantly Pongo that she was no good, even if Predy had never warned him about her. Anita was clearly disturbed by Cruella's personality and attitude and (almost) admitted that she was a bully, yet refused to admit that she was truly a bad (even evil) person at heart because she couldn't bring herself to accept somebody she grew-up with could possibly be capable of doing anything truly bad, harmful, or evil, even breaking the law. One explanation could be that Cruella comes from a family of power and influence with the of "good" family reputation. It's very obvious that Anita and Cruella truly aren't on friendly terms, yet for some reason Anita tolerates Cruella and tries to treat her with friendliness and kindness, which Cruella obviously doesn't appreciate or even comprehends and just openly bullies and belittles Anita (and her husband), in their own house. This woman wouldn't be allowed in my house at all. I could call the police on the grounds that she came into my house without my consent, legally trespassing, and have a restraining order against her.
