101 is my favorite,it speaks to me when the screen showed"your own drum style"...on my other yt for my drumming (ScumDrummer Armando "encabronado" Najera) I created my own drum style called the scumbeat.
@celticpridedrums
@celticpridedrums 4 жыл бұрын
These aren't "styles" these are rhythms. A style might be defined as the way you hold your sticks, or play a rudiment on the cymbal, or dynamics on a beat, how you play the bass drum pedal, sitting position, interpretation of a tune; one drummer may play a fast stick pattern for Caravan differently than another drummer. Elvin Jones "style ' was very different to Tony Williams on any rhythm. Maybe this is an Americanism? I have been teaching drums and percussion for 45 years and I teach these as rhythms. Am I wrong after so many years?
@fyfecraigie80

Well to me a rhythym is the arrangement of beats so some country and some death metal might have the same rhythym. As you said, America's often different

Very nice. Brandon I have purchased your book and it is super. Are there tracks where you play each where we can loop them? Very nice job.
