Akio Toyoda is a _living legend_ . He is not afraid to go against the grain for car enthusiasts. He went behind Toyota's back to race. Hell, he _challenged_ the world for fuel alternatives by showing an AE86 powered by a 4AGE _that runs on Hydrogen gas_ . If I remember correctly, he is also one of the drivers of the GR Corolla H2 concept on the Super Taikyu Series.

Unfortunately the CEO is stepping down I loved what he did for toyota and also that he was the grandson of the OG toyoda His reasons were "his way of thinking is too old school" and such, which I find hilarious, given how he breathed a ton of fresh air into the company

I like the old Toyota Land Cruiser with back spare tire it is the famous car of many high ranking politicians & service vehicles of many construction & mining ceo & engineers in the Philippines 🇵🇭 & it last longer than other car brand.

His way of thinking wasn't Old School, he honestly made the brand a lot more attractive to younger people with the inclusion of Gazoo Racing branded cars. Sad to see him leave, hopefully the new CEO doesn't pull a Nissan.

To be fair, they didn't invent Hydro Electric engines or even the idea of running a fuelcell, in the Early 2000 BMW experimented with it as well, but the technology might be at a good point, the distribution of Hydrogen Stations isn't.

The GR Supra and the regular Supra are two different cars. The Toyota Supra MK5 is a BMW Z4 with a nicer body on top. The Toyota GR Supra is the Gazoo Racing tuned version of the Supra MK5, and it's quintessentially a Toyota rather than a badge-swapped BMW, because their GR team put A TON of work into modifying the GR version.

Fun fact: the largest Toyota dealership in North America is located in El Monte, California. It’s so big that it also has a Verizon Wireless store, Subway and Starbucks inside. Edit: The dealership’s name is Longo Toyota. It’s located next to Longo Lexus.

Actually Toyota's logo is a tribute of their origin as weaving machine manufacturer. The logo is the image of a thread being inserted into a needle hole. Great video 🙌🙌
