tap water, last i checked was a couple years a go and it was pH 7.4 and TDS 140

pH has nothing to do with hardness, it has to do with Hydrogen content

@@ow8792 any strain can be kept in 6.0-8.0 pH, I mixed a lot of strains from lots of countries
