10x Up-Sized LEGO Modular Buildings! Complete Overview

Take a detailed look at all of my modified LEGO modular buildings! Over the past year, I have increased the size and height of 10 modulars and in this video, I feature them all! The bunch includes the Sanctum Sanctorum, Daily Bugle, Pet Shop, Brick Bank, Corner Garage, Jazz Club, Boutique Hotel, Book Shop, Grand Emporium, and Police Station.

Bricksie, your police station is crying out for a "lineup room" with five or six suspicious looking suspects and a glass wall for the witness to look through!

I think you also need a squad room, for the detectives. What’s a police station without the squad room. A place for the plain clothes detectives to solve the crimes write up their reports on an old typewriter. A cooler in the corner. Spare chairs for citizens to come to give statements. A couple of stale doughnuts around the place, and of course the coffee cups.

This is why I enjoy your city more than many others, because you don't just put LEGO sets into a layout and call it a day, but rather take an official LEGO design and make it better.

I like the white windows on the 3rd floor of the grand emporium. I don’t think that the white takes away at all and matches some of the details on the first floor. Thank you for sharing all these!

They all look good, but I’d say The Jazz Club upsize turned out the best. Runners up would be the Daily Bugle and Boutique Hotel.

Your boutique hotel is my favorite by far. I love to picture the families staying there before heading to bricksieland! 😂

the modular houses might look better if they were mirrored, which is how such terraces are usually built. that might require some alternate part usage though, as I've found when mirroring other buildings.

I agree. The townhouses would look good mirrored. Also the doors could be different colors. That would reflect what such a neighborhood would look like.

Love what you did with these Modular’s. I’m not personally for the most part into the modular sets, but do love to see what kind of cities collectors build, as well as what kinds of mods they do to the Lego sets to make them unique to their city. Great work; can’t wait to see the new and improved Lego City in the warehouse!

You should take the town houses from the pet shop and birches books and swap them so that they don’t repeat right next to each other.

If I had two of these modules, I'd probably use the second one to make a whole different business and leave the original buildings as intended as opposed to having bigger buildings with multiple samey looking floors.

for the 4th floor of the police station you should put a briefing room

you know what would be cool.. if you can add an elevator to the brick bank. you have the dead space in the middle i think it is an ideal place to add an elevator instead of living it as mezzanine space.

You could actually improve for now (or maybe even finish) the Grand Imperium by just dividing the white windows over all 3 floors. Say, each middle row on the outer edges is white (from top to bottom) or doing one green one white and so on in very row. Just try some things to make look like it's the actual design of the building. Or as some painters minifigs.

The top floor of the police station should have all the jail cells to house all kinds of unsavory characters like a bank robber, the Joker, a Pirate, a drunk, a space alien and whatever funny/unique minifigs you can find to lock up.
