01:19 - Wheat and Cucumber - Do you often face indigestion after eating wheat roti? If yes, then try this combination.

Just surprised 😮 In West Bengal it's a tradition to pair ghee with lemon in hot rice and rice with potato Currys is our staple food only which is often criticized by other communities as potato &rice both are high in carbs . Aaloo + rice combination actually surprised me! Aaloo and healthy! Many blame it to be fattening! While most of us cannot resist eating potatoes almost daily. Potatoes are thanos for most food lovers... Inevitable 👌

Absolutely! It never feels bad no matter what other sciency folks say. But as a thumb rule I try to consume aloo in boiled form only (chokha etc.). Fried aloo can lead to weight gain per ayurveda.

dairy is cruel watch deadly dairy 1. Cows/Buffalos produce milk for the same reason as humans do: to nourish their young. In order to force cows to continue producing milk, dairy farmers forcefully impregnate cows using artificial insemination every year. Calves are generally torn away from their mothers within 1 day of birth, which causes them both extreme distress. ~ ~ 2. Baby calves are fed milk replacers (Amul sells milk replacer for baby cows) so that their mothers’ milk can be sold to humans.~ Baby Male calves (Bulls) are either abandoned on the streets to eat plastic and slowly die of starvation by Indian dairy farmers or they are fattened up and slaughtered for beef , and baby female calves are sentenced to the same sad fate as their mothers.~ ~ 3. Baby Female female cows are forcefully impregnated shortly after their first birthday. After giving birth, they lactate for 10 months and are then forcefully inseminated again, continuing the cycle. Some spend their entire lives standing on concrete floors; others are confined to massive, crowded lots, where they are forced to live amid their own feces.~ ~ 4. Their reproductive systems are exploited through genetic selection, despite the painful and negative effects on their health. Artificial insemination, milking regimens, and sometimes drugs are used to force them to produce even more milk -the average cow today produces more than four times as much milk as cows did in 1950.~ ~ 5. A cow’s natural lifespan is about 20 years, but cows used by the dairy industry typically die after about 5-10 years because their bodies wear out from constantly becoming pregnant and lactating.~ ~ 6. In Western countries after cows can no longer produce milk, they are sent to the slaughterhouse then shot in the head with a bolt gun and turned into beef and leather.~ ~ 7. In India where beef is illegal, after a cow can no longer produce milk, dairy farmers can no longer afford feeding them, so they just abandon their old cows on the streets where they slowly die of starvation or slowly painfully die of poisoning after eating plastic/ garbage on the streets. ~ 8. If you really love cows and all other animals then stop drinking cow milk and become vegan not vegetarian. Because today’s Milk (Dairy) industry also causes suffering to animals. We do not need to drink cow milk to survive. There is so many vegan milk options today like Soy Milk, Cashew milk, Rice milk, Oat milk, Coconut milk, Almond milk, Peanut milk. And they are easy to make at home. Lets stop supporting these cruel industries Go vegan

I was shocked to know that rice+potato helps in reducing weight. I love to eat dal+rice+potato but always thought that I was just gulping lots of carbs and gaining weight and hence used to have a bit of guilt while eating this combo. Now I'm gonna be guilt free while eating it. Thanks to this video

U were right, rice and potato both are high in carbs when eaten with caloric surplus you can easily gain weight. It doesn't reduce fat as you have you be in a calorie deficit for fat loss. Ayurveda is not correct everytime.

Yes, my buying has also altered. Now I check ingredients and am surprised that many products contain mineral oil, perfume etc. I don't know much about chemical names, but these two are very commonly found.

@Harshit Garg Really! That's why we are planning to go almost vegan, like ghee allowed till we find some desi cow and get our own farm's cruelty free milk...and maybe in the future I'll be a complete vegan!!
