When I was much younger under 50, I used cayenne pepper and some garlic capsules. They no longer sell the garlic I used but two buttons on a card of 12 I believe made by Kwai. Anyway it took 2 garlic capsules and cayenne pepper 3X a day! It took my blood pressure down so low & I didn’t have a doctor to work with me so I stopped. I wished I had adjusted the portions I was taking because I ended up having an aneurysm a few years later. The doctor told me that I shouldn’t have survived. He said he had hundreds patients with the same condition but I was the only one that survived! I know God was with me because if I had gone to bed I probably wouldn’t have woke up. But God is my protector and I ask for Him to supply my need’s daily! He’s faithful and @ 75 I know He’s with me and keeping me!

Garlic and cilantro lowered my blood pressure. I'm off meds now. I eat raw garlic 3-4 Clive's cut up let the allicin activate 10 min before chew it RAW

Believe it OR not! My BP was always high so l turn to lime juice, now that work well BUT the dosage is the problem. Lime juice act fast, so is there a study on it re:dosage, side effects or benefits?.

With herbs you have to have a synergy of at least 3 or 4 spicies for them to harmoniously work...

We in india use most of these super spices in our daily curries and soups. Indian ancient medicine ayurveda prescribes these spices and herbs for healthy living and healing.

@SCPython Indian are having these spices for 1000s of years. May be the moderne life style changes to fast foods and less physical work compared to olden days are the reasons for some to get these issues is my guess. Otherwise these are proven herbs and spices.

Sometimes if you simply cannot bring down your BP in natural ways, your doctor might have to prescribe BP meds.

The following is also helpful. Red Grapefruit and its juice is effective at lowering blood pressure, it also works on lowering cholesterol, worked for me. Beets and beet greens help to lower blood pressure also. Use these daily. We get Del Monte Red Grapefruit. We find it in the produce section, it is refrigerated, and our largest Walmart in our city carries it. Changing from sodium/chloride to a lite salt of potassium/chloride such as Morton’s LITE salt, it also is iodized, and helps to lower blood pressure. Also switch to low sodium soy sauce. I also take turmeric capsules to fight inflammation, I increased the amount I take as I have a sore foot, got the swelling down.

Don't take Basil; It will reduce ur bp but only temporarily. Only minutes. Do the research. "¹⁴ According to one review, basil reduced systolic, diastolic, and mean blood pressure at a median dose of 30mg/kg.¹⁵ The effects were temporary, lasting two minutes before returning to normal. This can be due to basil's high content of eugenol." KZfaq uploaders should take into consideration that many viewers are financially challenged.
