Thank you for mentioning that Q4 is not the largest time for new Esty Sellers! I follow another girl who spoke of her timeline of building her POD Etsy Shop and she didn't get her first sale until after January, then it was 20-30 sales a day. Not sure what her strategy was or what she was posting but she didn't even get sales for like the first 4 months and had even quit working on her shop, the BAM..."cha-ching!" her first sale and then Wholy Moly Avocado...she's now doing 6 figures.

Be sure to make the font large enough to read on a Canva listing photo! Avoid anything 'frilly' or wispy - true black in bold.

You offer so much value in your videos! Thank you! No affiliate links... you rock girl! I thought I had found a good channel elsewhere but soon realized that although the advise sounded good, really she was selling me a product. For the first time in my life I am actually considering checking out a course lol I am just getting started. Don't even have one item listed yet. But I think I may have some good ideas. I'm still doing keyword research. I need to figure out if there is a market for what I have in mind. What do you recomend?

Can i duplicate now some listings and target them towards Halloween decor & Halloween gifting, or is it too late for that?

I was wondering the same thing but decided the obvious: my time is better spent working on Christmas listings. The way that the algorithm works with almost every social media channel is that it takes about 30-days for your listing to really get detected by the algorithm to know or realize what type of product / shop you are. This is why everyone says do not pay attention to your stats when it's been less than 30-days either from you posting a new listing OR from the time you make a change, to really see if that listing or "change" is really doing anything for your listing or shop. Also, don't pay for ads just yet in the first 30-days....let the algorithm lead you organically first for 30-days then look at the stats as a whole, monthly. I would say spend your time working on the next Holiday 60-90 days out and get a head start! Thanksgiving, Christmas, NYE even Valentine's Day.

@@alterglow3618 you give better tips than some of these channels, lol. They tell you about how to do but I have yet to hear what happens after your first listing. Just posted my first listing and sure enough, nothing! My Mom is gonna buy it though lol. Glad you mention ads as I was gonna try. Finishing up 2nd and 3rd tonight.

In my niche, there is no "big season", just consistency. For jollies, I join into the Etsy holiday sale, but it's not necessary and I get more problem clients when there is a discount (they want more and are inclined to dicker & haggle). I certainly don't follow trends, oy vey!
