Brock and I took the CT110 and the CL70 for a Saturday ride, in preparation of riding 750 miles around Lake Michigan. Fantastic day, even with a little breakdown. At the end of the video, I get it fixed and ready to go again!

Muffler? We don't need no stinkin' muffler! 😂😂😂

Brock told me he had to turn down the volume on his Bluetooth earpiece, my mic was picking up the engine sound and blaring in his ear. Hahaha

Thanks. It was a pretty good fix, quiet the whole way back to the shop.

Great vid. Really looking forward to the big ride. And Brown county is beautiful in the fall!

Thanks! Yes, that’s a big reason why I scheduled a subscriber ride last fall, so they could see the leaves and beauty of the area.

it is very common for metal to crack on the edge of welds

Nice shakedown run 👍🏾 Loved the back roads I see you past by the old Blossom Bridge

We had a great time. And other than the broken exhaust, both bikes ran/rode flawlessly.

You emphasized going left there because going straight is massive hill after massive hill, cars going 60mph, and no way to get off until basically Bloomington?
@MiniBikeMikeАй бұрын
While all that is true, the reason Brock and I joked about it is that during last falls 90 mile ride, Brock was leading the pack at this point and forgot to make that left turn. I was at the back of the pack and had to run him and a couple other riders down. It made for good laughs for the day.

Did you emphasize going left on that road in Nashville because the speed increases psst that point to a speed above where both bikes can safely cruise? Also as soon as I heard the exhaust bite change it reminded me of when that happened to me on the ruckus on the way to the DGR in Houston 😅 I've been using SENA units for over 5 years. Regardless of the comm brand, they are a game changer on group rides.

Yeah, the intercom is a game changer for group rides. Loved being able to communicate while riding. The one issue…….I talk to myself too much and there were a couple times I’d say something out loud. Brock did the same. Too funny! That left turn…….during the fall ride last year, Brock took the lead for a short period and missed that turn, leading a few riders the wrong direction. I had to run them down on the SL70. 🤣

@@MiniBikeMike i remember doing my first dual vlog with one of the ruckus riders from around town and we realized the same thing. We were talking to ourselves a lot. But nothing a few rides with the comms won't fix. Oh man i completely forgot about that during the fall ride 😅

Those roads look a little familiar 🤣🤣🤣🤣

The first few miles should have. I don’t think I’ve taken a group to the covered bridge route yet.

Very cool Mike! Are you going to the Portland swap?
@MiniBikeMikeАй бұрын
Nope. We’ll be riding 750+ miles around Lake Michigan while thats happening.

Not really, it ran about the same speed. I did gain about 5 or 6 mph, when I tucked during that short section. My big butt must block some wind. Haha
