Maybe whoever installed the carburetor during manufacturing was “standing on their head”, an so installed the insulator upside-down!! 🃏🤣 I’ve found an insulator installed between the cylinder head and the intake manifold on a used bike purchased… evidently whoever did that didn’t understand where you want some insulation from engine heat and where you do want the air/fuel mixture to be preheated to begin vaporization!!!
@MiniBikeMike
@MiniBikeMike 58 минут бұрын
@@donsoule6411 The original Honda CT70’s came with a black plastic insulator between the head and the intake. I’m not sure when it was moved to between the intake and carb. It’s an easy mistake, to install it upside down…..especially if you’re doing a few hundred a day and just slapping them together.

@@danstowe8163 No problem at all. The 3 black Lifan 125cc semi autos were purchased from PCC Motor. You can contact them thru their website or on eBay. I found using their ebay store was just as easy. Those engines are old. I purchased them years ago, when they sold for $250 plus shipping. They’re now closer to $500. The engine in the orange CL70 is a Zongshen 125cc manual. It was a brand new engine and I picked it up on Amazon for $300 delivered.
