We're a bilingual country over here, we speak Castellano (Spanish) and Guaraní (sort of native language) here, so many of our slang and curse words came from mixind both languages, we call it "jopara" (Yopará) witch means "mix".The meaning of what we say depends on how we say it. For example: "Nde tembo" could mean "You, my friend" or "You! Piece of shit!" Tembo = Slang word from guarani that means literally penis. Sometimes we add suffixes from guarani to spanish words, like "pio/piko/iko/ingo" to emphasize what we're trying to say like: "Cómopio pudiste hacer eso?" = "How the hell did you do that". All this also dependes of the context and how it's said. A slang word in spanish we use a lot here is "socio" that we use to referer to someone witch name we don't know, or someone whose name we know, but we're not too close. Commonly we use it when playing football we don't know the name of our teammate. e.g. "Socio pasana la pelota" = "Hey man! Please pass the ball" *"Pasana" has a guaraní suffix "na" witch in this case means that you are begging to the other person to pass you the ball. The way we speak could is very peculiar, but saying the same thing only in spanish, only in guaraní or in jopara, could differt completly in the meaning. Hope this help!

I'm from Uruguay and we use the word "tipo" as "like" for ex: Esto es como que, tipo, raro. This is, like, weird. But out of context it actually means guy or dude. Ex: Hay este tipo! Would be like: Man, this guy! It can also mean type. Ex: No nos gusta este tipo de cosas. We don't like this type of things. So context changes a lot.

I'm from Argentina and "Che" is actually more like "Hey". Example "¿Che, queres ir a un bar?" = "Hey, do you want to go to a bar?"

The chilean "po" is not an Equivalent of the Argentine slang "Che", the "po" is used as a pet word and is added to the Sentence to add emphases, drift of the word "pues" So, is used like in the Phrase "hey, apurate pues" But instead it is use "hey, apurate po" or more chilean "oe, apurate po". En Argentina tenemos la palabra escabio, que tiene como varias palabras derivadas. Tenés escabiar, que es el verbo y es la acción de tomar bebidas alcohólicas. El alcohol en sí se dice escabio. Si tenés que usarlo como un adjetivo para reflejar cómo está la persona, tipo un sinónimo de "borracho" podés decir escabiado o escabio. El origen está re copado, viene del Italiano (furbesco) "scabbi" que es básicamente vino.

in paraguay we use "ko" a lot just to emphasize anything (some people write like "co", but idk which one is right so ya) example; when your mom asks you to clean your room when you've already done it "yo ko ya limpié todo" we also use "na" when we're whining (it actually means "por favor" but we also say "por favor na" so idk) example; when someone wants you to do something you don't really want to "no na" or when you want someone to do something "dale na" we also use a lot of guarani since it's one of the official languages. -tekorei (tecoreí): it's when you're really doing nothing and you're just bored. like when you're in class and you start drawing/writing random stuff on your notebook, because, well... you're tekorei. -ay(i don't his to explain the pronunciation but it's something like au with the u being pronounced almost closed and you're almost smiling, your lips like two parallel lines): we do have a word in spanish for this (desagradable) but we just use the guarani word because it sounds better we also use the word "e'a" (pronunciation: e-a, being two syllables with a glotal stop between them being represented by the ') a lot and it's not really a word, more like a sound you say you're suprised (usually in a bad way). like instead of saying "oh, en serio?" or just "en serio?" we say "e'a, en serio?" there a lot of more words, but these are the ones i wanted to write about.

In Brazil, we can say cara" and "parça" for dude. We also say che in the south region, and use po in some places.

I thought my self Brazilian Português in about 3 months but that’s the Português that you hear in TV or KZfaq videos but after I learned that I decided to go to Brazil and when I got there I was like “What the F@€K” I couldn’t understand anyone…well just some of them because the majority speak some form of “Slang” which they call “Jiria” Don’t know if your Brazilian friends have told you about it…it’s pronounced “Gíria” So after 3 weeks there I started memorizing and asking questions and now I’m totally fluent in the actual Brazilian Português which have many accents and ways to say one word or pronounce it depending on what region you come from. They have the “Paoulista” Which pronounce the letter “R” Rolling their tip of their tongue much like Spanish speaking people and then there’s the “Carioca” Whom pronounce the letter “R” from the throat like if they have a peace of food stuck back there or they need to spit out something. I think you should ask your Brazilian friends to explain it better. Anyway,I love your channel and I’m glad you are back. ❤️🌹

Here in Brazil, in 'Rio Grande do Sul', the state that makes border with Uruguay, they use "che" a lot too. Usually you hear "Mas bah tche", with the t in front, something you understand why is there when you learn Portuguese.

For what I understand, in Panamá they say "qué sopá!", not with X. The explanation for that is: sopá (notice the tonic syllable) separated is so-pá. And if you switch those syllables it's like pa-só (still the same second tonic syllable). So they're saying "qué pasó!" but switched :)
