Sometimes when I'm shopping, people will be looking at me and it makes me feel weird. Like I'm doing something wrong. It sucks to feel like people are watching you.

I've had problems with people staring at me for years and it always irritated me. But up until recently I've finally realized that I'm considered a really attractive guy. And I also have really bright colored eyes and I keep myself well groomed. I'm just shy and quiet because I don't like attention. My job pretty much helped me realize that I'm attractive to most people. even both sexes and people of all ages. I'm a straight guy but I get hit on by everyone. It makes me feel uncomfortable and makes me wish I wasn't so appealing to people. Especially due to the fact I'm quite shy and introverted. Which also doesn't help because people always try to figure me out and I hate that also.

People acting awkward around me and staring is something I don't think I'll get used to. I have social anxiety and when people stare I feel uncomfortable even if I know why they're probably staring. Like I've seen and caught women just staring at me and I'm still not used to that. It's even weirder when I catch dudes doing it who are straight men(at least I think).

Melli, you are definitely a beautiful woman. Not every guy may think so, just as every woman does not find me attractive. But you are correct in how people react when they do find someone attractive. I look at it this way, if I ask her out and she says no, her loss and I move on. It is no big deal to me whether a woman finds me attractive or not. many people think that others stare because theyre ugly or something is wrong with their appearance Most people get taught not to stare at disabled people, and that also applies to ugly people 9/10, its because youre good looking, people dont feel bad looking at pretty people, they feel bad looking at ugly people from what u experience IRL its quite easy to tell whether they think youre ugly or attractive

Alot of "friends" actually single me out quite often and it's a group that is closed knit while I'm like the black sheep doing my own thing. They often make fun of my height and act like I'm unintelligent. But it's out of nowhere to make the group laugh but to a point it becomes disrespectful. I domt consider myself extremely attractive but perhaps enough to have people have animosity towards me. They not my close friends no more bc of it and everytime I come around I'm reminded of why we not close no more. Smh.

I think interactions with strangers are a good indication of how people see you. I’ve been traveling more these days, and I cannot tell you the number of random people that just blindly trust me to follow me around. I had a girl follow me around for the night in a bar. I had a guy at a hotel want to come to dinner with me after chatting for just a few minutes. My personality is on point but much of it is my looks. Crazy stuff cause I’ve been oblivious to my attractiveness this whole time.

Im not the best looking guy out here, but I get some looks when I walk into some places. My big thing is. I get so weird about compliments. My defense mechanism is to immediately spit out a compliment, in return. One sided compliments, to me, feel soooo awkward. So I feel like I try to balance it out 😅. Idk, I feel like I'm the only person that does that.

It's not that I consider myself unattractive (I feel like I'm average and that's not a problem) however, I've been told several times by women that I'm attractive. It always throws me off me somehow. I've never let it get to my head though because people like that suck, and I don't ever want to be someone that relies heavily on my looks.

im mixed east asian and hispanic and white. when i was a kid growing up i was always a very shy and very fat nerd so I never had any concept of being attractive. I always thought I was weird looking and just wanted to look like every other “normal” white American kid. My moms asian friends would always fawn over me about how handsome and tall I was but I never took it seriously. But when I got skinny and then especially after adding lots of muscle I discovered that women for real were attracted to me. this happened right around the time I first went to college so it was like an entirely new world of romance and sex and attraction was just dropped into my lap. I went from barely being able to talk to girls in a non-platonic way to being able to walk into the club and hook up with any random hot girl in like 2 minutes, in about a year. It was a very mindblowing realization to me and completely blew apart my view of myself, women, and the world in general. In many ways it took years for me to actually come to terms with it and learn how to still be myself by coming back down to earth. to me the most insane part is realizing how shallow and fickle humans are, even just subconsciously. since those times ive gone back and forth between getting a little flabby, getting skinny, or getting ripped again. and you can literally see in real time the difference in how you are treated. i literally can see myself slowly become more and more invisible to people, and taken less seriously. then when im in shape random people smile at me and women hang onto my every word even though im behaving and speaking mostly in the same way as before. me saying something awkward will be viewed as cute and endearing and funny and flirty when im hot, but if i say the same thing as a chubby dude its just weird and awkward and people will treat you worse. its a very eye opening experience

I have the mindset that all girls who smile at me or give me attention are just being friendly. When I was studying for class last semester at school a girl I knew from my Creative Writing class came in the room was studying in and was curious what I was studying but I was oblivious and assumed they were being friendly to me.

This wasba very humorous, yet VERY informative video. I myself can relate to this video. However, I myself don't find myself to be that good looking. I've recieved some compliments about how arteactive I am, but I feel like beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I am a 31 year old light skinned black guy. However, I have been told numerous times that I look and can pass for Hispanic., and I've had many Hispanics come up to me, and automatically start speaking Spanish to me. I live in Louisiana, AKA the deep south. Lousiana, and the South has a very storied history when it comes to race and racism. I have had people stare at me, and continue to do so even to this day. I am used to people having extreme feelings towards me: either very nice, or down right nasty, rude, and or cold. I've also been in situations where people will start out being and acting nice to me, and then over a period of time, they started acting weird: fidgeting, playing with their hair, or straight up ignore me. How do I know this is out of jealousy or attraction, and no racism?

Some men stay hating on other men, it is more common than some would like to admit. It isn't only about looks neither. If you have more money and/or assets than them, they will either dog out your name or send a hit out on you. It can get really bad! Men, please watch the friends that you keep and run jokes with.
