Personally, I hate double-tap feature on the pencil because I sometimes accidentally switch to erasing while writing. As a addition, you can also undo by double tapping with two fingers.

The drag an image into procreate to create a colour palette is mind blowing! I was using the eye dropper so this changes things. Thank you soooo much!

Your first tip was a big help. I am left handed. I use notability and find it often goes into erase mode on its own. I must have been accidentally activating that switch accidentally. Thanks.

Excellent presentation, Janice! Thank You! As a brand-new Apple user, the tips that are not Pencil-related topics were very informative. I am getting excited to use my new iPad, just by watching your presentation! Love the drop-in color palettes. You might want to note that your clip is not strictly only on Pencil tips. How do you copy/paste text or scribbles between an Apple and a non-Apple device, like an Android phone or PC?

Thank you for all the new discoveries. For the copy and paste between devices make sure to enable Handoff and Bluetooth on both devices (it took me a while to figure that out)

Also, when holding the pencil in writing pose, lift your index finger to tap, and right after the second tap, no need to lift it again. It'll be faster since you don't have to change your pose while switching tool. I'm still hoping Apple to just provide a pressure sensitive "button" and an eraser for the pencil, but that probably won't happen in near future.

you should be able to use the top of the pencil as an eraser! like you do with normal ones that would be cool

@@amphibian2982 Wacom stuffs (and by that extension, Samsung and Microsoft stuffs as they also use Wacom technology) got that like 20 years ago. It might be more of a premium thing to have, but I doubt anyone would consider Apple stuffs "budget".

Hi Janice. Have you ever experienced when writing with your apple pencil on notes taking apps, such as Notability there's these weird glitches like strange lines just appear on your screen? Just want to say thank you. I don’t know if this is the right vid where you shared about creating PDFs from a screen shot (been watching so many videos lately) by dragging from the corner but had a chance to use that tip today. I don’t have internet where I live so I use a lot of screen shots back home for research. Being able to get the entire page sure cuts down on screen shots. So thanks. I am Grateful.
