In this tutorial I explain how to create a tetrahedral mesh for a surface mesh using the incremental Delaunay method. I also briefly discuss the implementation as a python blender plugin.

For me a 'tetrahedralizer' was like a black-boxed monster, but in the light of your tutorial the mysterious monster got turned into a piece of understandable logic. Thank you!

Using quads as thetrahedrons is genius. I love smart hacks like that, that's makes new use of old systems!

A year later and this feature (along with XPBD) STILL hasn't been implemented by the blender devs. Incredible work.

Thank you so much Matthias! You are spoiling us with all this well explained learning content... Do you plan to cover advanced cloth constraints in XPBD like Anisotripic ARAP, Baraff-Witkin, FEM, Strain... ?

It's not always clear. You're using same words in different contexts, you omit some words and clarifications in your explanation and thus it feels like you're suddenly talking about something completely separate. It's hard to tell where one thing ends and where another starts. But it's still much better than the dry mathematical explanation of the topic. It was insanely helpful. Thank you.

How do you convert the tetrahedron from Blender into the JS code you show in your softbody video?

Thanks! That was very helpful. In 06:15 I noticed that (-1.0, 0.0, 0.0) is missing from the "dirs".

On line 44 in the source code, is it supposed to be (-1.0, 0.0, 0.0) instead of (0.0,-1.0, 0.0) or am I misunderstanding something?

What format do we export that tetrahedral mesh to from Blender? Tutorial 12 just has raw data with "edgeIds"
