Thank you for watching :) I checked that if you cut out the guides of the wing, you can fit the width of the Z1 deck, but the length of the wing is 1-2 cm longer than the deck length of the Z1. Cut and trim a bit, I think you can fit it in.

My first board...my ONLY board...is a Backfire G2 Black 2020, which I've had for slightly less than two weeks, and I'm absolutely loving it (on the stock 96mm wheels, as well as the 105mm CloudWheels). While I haven't ridden a skateboard in approx 40 years, after only 3 rides, I'm already riding the G2 Black as if I've been riding for weeks (maybe it's kinda like the old "you never forget how to ride a bike" philosophy...I don't know)...and, admittedly, it's also already kicked in the 'Esk8 bug'. Although it's probably at least 6 months away, I'm already starting to plan out my next Esk8, which I've already narrowed down to the Zeus & Hurricane...but, I'm also considering the possibility (either as my second, or maybe third, board) of building a DIY...and, thanks to this (and the next, as I WILL be watching it as soon as it's uploaded) video, my DIY interest just jumped a few levels. As someone heavily involved in RC, having built more then my fair share of kits (and having built a Class 3 crawler from only spare parts), if think my "building skills" should be more then 'adequate'. But, before I decide whether such an attempt should be my 2nd, or 3rd, board, I've got a few questions, if you and/or anyone else could answer them. First, what would a build such as this end up costing (preferably, in USD)? Second, what boards would you recommend as "best/optimal choices" for someone of my 'build' (ie. 5'8", 230lbs (I'm trying to get back down to approx 200lbs))? In that, I'd probably prefer avoiding all-carbon boards? And, finally, I understand a number of the parts you use are (possibly) 'prototypes'...but, what colors (besides pink) are you aware that they will be available in? The more information that can be provided would be greatly appreciated...and, keep up the outstanding, and incredibly helpful, videos. 🤙

As an answer to the first question, the board is not completed yet, but we expect a total of 2,500 dollars. Second, your physical condition is important to find the best board for you, but I think it would be good to think about whether the environment you ride most. Requires a lot of torque (many hills, off-road), or enjoy top speed on a good condition road. And I don't think there's a reason to avoid the all-carbon board. @@KAMiJUINs Thank you for the reply. Price seems reasonable, so no worries there. as for "physical condition"...well...I'm alive, but overweight...lol. Seriously, though...I live in Silicon Valley, where many of the largest US tech companies are based. While I might be interested in some off-road riding (mostly trails...nothing requiring a suspension), the majority would be on paved surfaces. At the same time, the SF Bay Area has some of the worst, least taken-care-of roads in the country, so riding many of them is not much different than riding off-road. Some streets are so bad, riding a road bicycle and/motorcycle (both of which I ride) can sometimes be difficult. Take the term "urban jungle", and apply it to the streets, themselves, and I'm sure you can imagine that of which I speak. That's a big part of why I like the tires you chose for this build - they are pneumatics, but worth a tread more closely resembling something you'd find on a "street" bicycle with fatty tires. Finally, as for distance vs speed, let's say 75-80% interested in distance, 20-25% interested in speed.

I think, while no expert, the 21700 series coming around in the muscle boards or something like the hurricane with their battery system is the way to go. Value for the money is there. I’m leaning towards the new Eovan Carbon Super that has 21700s 12s4p. The few reviews show that thing as a beast for $1400. Custom builds take up the cost. Now that companies like Eovan are making the ESV programmable on the user end you have DIY arena control in the brains of the board. Good luck!

I've never seen anyone use rubber washers on the axle. I assume this protects the bearing shields from getting smacked hard against the truck? I'm about to try this out! Thank you

Well...I'm not an expert on this either. The films I mainly use are those for interior purposes and automobiles. If you have a heat gun, you can easily work on curved areas.

제가 사용한 트럭은 데크와의 각도가 30도정도를 유지해야 본래의 기능을 발휘하는 트럭입니다. 말씀하신 보드들에 장착은 가능하겠지만 성능이나 기능적인 부분은 다른 결과일수 있습니다.

電動スケボーの弱点は、水。スイッチ部やバッテリーケース内に水が入らないようにするため、なるべく雨の日は乗らない。しかも寒いので、防寒対策はしっかりして乗ります。ウィールを変えたり、キングピンナットを増し締めしたりして、思い通りの自分だけのスケボーに仕上げる楽しみは最高。

*I like the new trucks* but it is sad that Trampa copied APEX Air trucks without even thanking APEX for all the hard work that went into designing it. And brother. When I listened to you and compared similar trucks from the three brands Apex, Trampa, and E-toxx, I found that the design and center of gravity were all different. For example, the center of gravity of Apex's truck hanger is located in the center between each kingpin, and Trampa's IR truck is skewed toward the top kingpin. In my view, it can make a difference enough to feel physically when riding. So I don't know what happened between them, but it's too much to see them as copies. If you have a chance to watch it, check it out.~ Thanksssssss Brother :)

Would someone PLEASE explain to me the battery needs of a build like this? Every time I see a high consumption board like this, its sucking down 140 amps, yet its got a battery with cells capable of discharging a fraction of that, even after they're paired in parallel 3 or even 4 times. The "2021" build, for example, featured as much as 80amps per motor and had a battery capable of producing just 24 amps. That's assuming the BMS was rated for at least 24 amps. I am building a high power board now and have 2 x (12s 2p battery packs each capable of 60 amps ,120amps total). It's an absolute monster battery yet I keep hesitating to get a 200amp esc with some matching power motors because I am afraid I will draw too much current from my batteries, or I will be running the entire system at a higher level of inefficiency. Anyways can anyone out there explain this to me?

Sorry, I've never done that. I'm just saying from my experience, but DIY is never cheap. It's meaningless to make it cheap. The reason is that people can buy a better finished product at the same price. So I think DIY is self-satisfaction.

I never understood why they use an o-ring instead of a proper length bearing spacer.

Great build aside, APEX pushed the innovation but trampa is the one reaping the reward from this unintended video promotion. Shame on them!

I compared similar trucks from the three brands Apex, Trampa, and E-toxx, I found that the design and center of gravity were all different. For example, the center of gravity of Apex's truck hanger is located in the center between each kingpin, and Trampa's IR truck is skewed toward the top kingpin. In my view, it can make a difference enough to feel physically when riding. So it's too much to see them as copies. If you have a chance to watch it, check it out. And for your information the first place that made this type of truck was E-toxx. I think Apex and Trampa changed it in their own way.
