That's perfect, thank you! We whipped up a solution in CAD, used a 5/16" stainless bolt into the post. Mill the head to flats, cross drilled, and put a stainless pin through it to rotate the cam lever on...but the pin is small, and threaded into the cam block with 10-32 threads. Makes me nervous about long term durability, I like the 5/16" counterbored into a much larger rotation shaft, and the set screw is a nice touch. Thanks again!

I'm glad I stumbled across your channel. Great videos. I've had a 14" Rockwell for years & love it. Since you seem to have researched a lot of parts, I'm having trouble finding the spindle bearings you used. And I very much would like to replace the variable speed belts. If you know where I can find those, it would be appreciated! Thanks

The belts are 2322v431 and 2322v437. This is for the standard model if you have the speed lever on the on the carriage the belts or at least 1 belt are different. The bearings are New Departure, Delco double row 5515 for the main bearing and the 2 others are 73L13 New Departure New Single Row Ball Bearing.. there both on ebay right now for $16.89 each for the smaller bearings and $111.46 for the large main bearing you need 1 big one and 2 smaller ones

Ozarktools sells a good service manual for this lathe. I haven’t figured my threading chart out yet lol. I put mine on D 6 for 24tpi but its not cutting 24tpi. Any pointers? I really appreciate u making this video series

Wrong gear open the side panel up you will see a gear on top of another gear switch shem 2 around.

kzfaq.info/get/bejne/aMiDdZuLmduRimw.html look at 4:27 pause it there is a smaller gear on top of a larger switch them small gear should be on top like mine. The other setup is for 4 tpi all others take the gear setup like mine

I’m restoring a lathe just like this. I lost the little metal piece hanging off the carriage you can see it on frame 1:23. Does anything have manual for this machine? I want to get the rough dimensions so I can make replicate one. Thanks

Are you talking about the part hanging under the cross slide handwheel?
