My guess on that coil is there's some side shifting due to uneven loading, caused it to shear like a can. That's says a lot...these subs were fully using their power against the air load. Proper use 👌 I've been trying to prove that the subs feel offset loading if not symmetrically placed in the box.

@puresesh7985 what I mean is that the subs are actually using all of its power to convert all of the magnetic force in to sound energy. I would like to see the clamped power or the impedance curve.

I believe that in some cases the subs actually feel some offset pressure on the edges of the cone, only momentarily and this in severe cases can cause the cone to shift and maybe even cause coil rub on weaker suspension. The problem can be more exaggerated by offset mount of the sub within the box or with wavefront that create offset pressure on the cone. Really hard to prove, but I want to try.

Those are the 15 inch subwoofer magnets on the 6.5", coil size and wattage has to be enormous. I just would love to own those two babies with such crazy x max.

yep - 4:53 - 5:42 - similar thing here, and someone from US wanted give me demos using some my rebasses what he likes...just it isnt a good idea for someone who lives on a different continent to "hop" there for an afternoon just only because of this, and even with car...

It peaks at 17hz still does 138-39 at 40hz it's within .5 db from 30-40hz with a rising low end response very good for sq
