In a way, it's the same how in every Bob Ross painting video he explains everything from the beginning. It is what it is. Some people like it, some think that this is consecutive series of interconnected episodes, which it isn't.

@@LoftyPursuits I thought the opening pan with the multiple color rose was really nice. It showed the color and really highlighted just how clear the transparent areas are. I like the depth of field contrast with the white roses as well though. Out of focus the green of the pedals really comes out, then when the one white rose is brought into focus it steals the shot. I'm not a photographer though... Just sharing what I like from an average Joe's perspective.

Just wanna drop how much I appreciate Greg's dialogue in these videos. He has some of the most enjoyable insights, history lessons, and the way how he explains each video like you only just started on the current video, versus just assuming that each viewer will know the process by now is the hallmark trait of a person who genuinely wants to spread his passion for candy making to his viewers at large. The crew there at Lofty Pursuits must feel blessed to have Greg. But even more then that, Lofty Pursuits in general must be blessed to have a team that comes together to make something magical for each of these videos. Thank you very much.

Beautiful done. Also I love how you mentioned the Japanese candy makers. The Japanese have a very interesting and tasty variety of sweets. As a former student of film/video, thank you for not only hiring a student but thank you for publicly acknowledging them! I used to do so many jobs where the person I worked for either treated me terrible, never gave me credit/took credit for my work, or straight up told me I couldn't work for them because I was a student. So, seriously, thank you for giving an opportunity for working experience and giving them credit!

It has so much surface area that it gets sticky even before we're done bagging the candy. It becomes a solid lump of not so good quickly most if the year. Also since it's quite fluffy there's a lot less of it than you think. we do have employees who collect it and use it in their tea

When it's done. It's been much harder to do than I thought. I'm still working on the music rights, and there are two shots I really wanted to re-shoot in November (when the harvest happens) that I could not do, due to Covid. I've shot close to 90 hours of footage so far, and it's not where I want it to be. This was a bigger project than I'd thought it would be, but I hope it to be great, even if the footage is shot in one year increments.
