David, this place the food looks good, but…I’m truly disappointed to say the least. When there a buffet style place, these buffets need to be and stay cleaned up. Shame on the staff. I’ve been to buffets before and they kept places like this with buffet cleaned up from messes at all time. It makes the dishes look so..much better. I get that their busy employees, but..come on. I’d have to give this place a thumbs down for not being more cleaner for the buffets tables.

You stumbled upon a great find! Everything looked like good ole down home cooking. Your reactions, wife and kids included, just confirmed its deliciousness. I'm impressed that you even try things you normally don't like. Thankfully for you, you actually liked Louisiana Purchase Kitchen's versions. Wish we have something comparable near where I live. Actually, we do have a relatively new restaurant by a similar name, but its not a buffet. It's a modern trendy place with decent tastes where one can expect to pay over $50 per person without a beverage. That price you paid, gets us a starch, a meat, and one side at our local Chinese or Filipino fast food take-out joints. You are indeed blessed with good food offerings near you. So you are basically saying that chef knows how to season food well. Kinda shocked at the low price given the quality of the food. Good I do not live anywhere near that place because I would be there 3 times a week and pick up 25 pounds in no time.

Meat with gravy over mashed! Bread pudding with topping Fried fish, etc with mashed Collard greens and I love to mix vegetables, salad in with mashed potatoes Gumbo with buttered cornbread crumpled in Mixed sodas! I keep working on my plate space saving techniques with every buffet visit 😆 Roast turkey in sauce over rice-stuffing Plenty of milk Love puddings even more than ice cream. I laughed through most of this video. First of all I live between Houma and Thibodaux so I am about 50 miles away. I could not believe I have never been there. Especially when I saw the price. I knew the food would be great, but so cheap too. You know it's good when you just had a burger a couple hours before and you eat 3 plates and dessert. We are planning a road trip in September to Louisiana. We will try that place out, thank you. The fried chicken, etouffe, and gumbo looked especially good. Did you have the sweet tea as a beverage? By the way, did you take I-10 the whole way or I-90 part of the way? I-90 from Lafayette to New Orleans is only a little bit farther, but you go right through the heart of Cajun country; New Iberia, Morgan City, etc. I find it to be a much more pleasant drive and less big rig trucks as well.

We have nothing that good here in Tennessee Ridge or Erin Tennessee 😂I mean don't get me wrong some of the food at the Tennessee Ridge Restaurant is good but nothing to video about 😅 but in Erin we have a place called Fitz's it's a steakhouse and Southern cooking their food is better than the other one I mentioned 😊. Hi David. Love your t-shirt. We went to Universal Studios in Osaka yesterday and it was so much fun. Their theme is of course popular anime and my daughter was on cloud nine. People are so nice and kind. What amazed me the most was that every where we went was so clean and no one beg for money. What a beautiful country and people. My daughter haven’t started college yet and she already decided to study abroad in Japan in her Junior year.

I gather this was a French establishment you were dining at hence my comment since the French are known for their culinary skill.

David you made the best food decision. Court of Two Sisters is really not suited for kids IMHO. Dont get me wrong I love the CoTS having first went there 40 years ago. Btw if you are ever in Metaire again check out Dragos Seafood you wont be disappointed. They also have a New Orleans location. Great to see the wife engaged too bad she wasn't on microphone.
