Get the tie I'm wearing: gentl.mn/2kYYJfg
00:20 Wash your dress shirts in a delicates bag. The delicates bag acts a barrier between your shirt and the washing machine and therefore, the edges wear less.
00:55 Store your underwear or t-shirts vertically, not horizontally. A. you get more to your drawer and B. you see exactly what you have.
01:28 Use your hangers to see what you actually wear and don't wear. Whenever you wear something, you simply turn it around.
02:11 Dry your fine, delicate sweater in a salad spinner. It'll stay in shape, and you will be able to enjoy your sweaters for years to come.
02:43 Iron the inside of your shirt placket from the back first and then from the front. That way, unattractive wrinkles would be gone.
03:11 If you want a new way or some inspiration to wear a garment that you already have, simply go to Instagram and search for hashtags.
03:54 Fix stuck zippers with either a candle or bar soap.
05:07 Use rubbing alcohol or a hairspray to remove pen stains. Use hair spray as a pre-treatment, let it sit for about five minutes and then put it in your regular wash cycle.
05:32 When you're traveling, add a dryer sheet or a piece of bar soap to your dirty laundry so it will always remain fresh.
05:57 Use a paper towel holder core to prevent wrinkles in your pants. Attach it to your hanger to avoid creases on your trousers.
06:46 Add a tie dimple to your ties to create a three-dimensional texture. So you always look dapper.
07:13 Avoid drying your dress shirts and other cotton garments at all costs. It will get damaged very easily.
08:01 Use a dryer sheet to remove deodorant marks on your shirt. Simply rub it off using the dryer sheet.
08:34 Ironing your shirts wet if you don't have a steam iron. Dampen your shirts so the water turns to steam once iron hits the shirt.
09:12 Use moth balls the right way. Throwing mothballs just in your closet simply is not enough.
Plus one more BONUS STYLE HACK!

Thanks for all the great videos! I have binge-watching all your videos since the first time I saw your channel! Your channel contains exactly the information I have requested for a long time! The videos are very good quality, and the music is also very good, but I have a small problem with your audio recording. Personally, I think the quality is too low, and sometimes I find it hard to hear what you are saying in the video. I hope that you will take my message reconsidered and perhaps improve the sound with new equipment. Thanks for your time, and thank you once again for your creative videos. Keep them coming! ;)

Hi there Sven! I'm relatively new to the fine clothes scene and I'm also very young (a high school student) so, I don't have much in the way of income... but I desperately want to elevate my style to a higher standard then my peers (Living in Tennessee it's not that hard, but nonetheless I like being well dressed) So as such an authority on the matter of fine clothing do you have any advice for me?

Do a video on different styles of wearing a Bandana.
@catatonicbug7522
@catatonicbug7522 7 жыл бұрын
You mean like, "Just don't"? Bandanas (which are actually just colored handkerchiefs) are for cowboys, not gentlemen. Gentlemen carry handkerchiefs to give away or share (see the movie "The Intern"), not as a visible clothing item.

Tip number 7 on stuck zippers- You can also use graphite such as the tip of a pencil because the graphite acts as a natural lubricant for the zipper!

Number 11, my father would turn in his grave ....if he wasn't still alive... I was taught that the 'tie dimple' isn't proper, a sign of dressing in a hurry, I never realised it could give a little texture. Tie dimple translates to 'pisgootje' in Dutch, and if you translate that back to English (literally) it would mean: 'little trough urinal'.
@justtosuffer398
@justtosuffer398 7 жыл бұрын
It's counterintuitive, but the tie dimple is actually visually attractive. Thiss gives a slight aura of imperfection which makes the wearer more visually interesting as a whole.
@RadioJonophone
@RadioJonophone 7 жыл бұрын
Death to tie wrinkles. Dimples, indeed. If you say they are "slight imperfections" then they are imperfections. Avoid imperfections, do a tie up properly. No wrinkles, and covering the top of the shirt fabric at the collar join.
@catatonicbug7522
@catatonicbug7522 7 жыл бұрын
While I tend to disagree that a dimple is bad, there is a "proper" way for the dimple to be made. Both side edges of the tie should ALWAYS face back toward the wearer, and the dimple should be dead center. I can't stand tie knots that are asymmetric as well! You should never see the part of the tie that wraps around the neck (should be 100% covered by the collar), and it should lay flat against your chest.

The moths don't eat anything. they lay eggs that hatch out into larvae. It is these little blighters that eat your clothes. After that they pupate to become grown up moths that fly away.
