The Gerudo guards confiscating the Lynel´s weapons, with the Lynel being so confused that he don´t know what to do anymore because such an expected turn of events, is my new favorite interaction on the game

The library having an actual categorized system is just crazy. It's the kind of thing that 99% of players will NEVER even notice, but Nintendo did it anyway. Now that's attention to detail.

I love the image of Gerudo guards holding out their hands like "hand it over young man" and the Lynell has to give up his weapons.

I’m not sure if you’ve covered this one, but in Purah’s lab, on the floor there are chalk lines separating Symin’s area from Purah’s. Symin is near and tidy and Purah is very messy so they have the chalk lines to signify their respective spaces. However, Purah seems to have been taking over Symin’s space over time, showing lines from earlier as faded as more and more papers from Purah’s area have invaded his. As he draws new lines, she drops more papers. There is even some text on the ground but I haven’t been able to translate it.

I love that "Lynels dont know how to Lynel without weapons" part, got me laught 😂

It's insane how this series keeps going. The fact that you can keep finding more stuff is amazing!

Some things I don’t think you’ve done before: 1. There’s a unique animation for attempting a spin attack with “red” recovering stamina 2. If you hold the throw aim button, jump, and tap the bow button links hands will seperate 3. If enter bullet time mid air and then teleport anywhere you’ll get a cool action pose. Also great video

Its crazy that we have gone through 20 episodes already and I have watched all of them. And I still learn something new everytime. Truly amazing series, keep it up Gamespot!

Honestly; I'm not much of a "top 10" kinda guy and I typically don't trust videos of this category, but the fact that this series consistently teaches me new things every episode is highly impressive.

Pretty funny that the monsters can steal shields from the shop, never would've thought to try that.

That's absolutely insane that they labeled the library shelves instead of copy-pasting the same one over and over.

The Gura "A" caught me completely off guard

Anyone notice how fast that Guardian was moving in the chase scene video (3:30)? That would be intense.

Unbelievable that after 3 1/2 full playthroughs that I never once encountered the custom crouching animation while holding a weapon that's on fire (particularly a spear). It is just amazing the amount of detailed intricacies hidden within this masterpiece...

Max is in the same perpetual loop as that gun expert on Gamespot and I love it.

It's so strange seeing something actually break with the game with the Lynel AI after disarming. Most of the time when trying to do something that you would expect not to be intended behavior, the developers seem to foresee the scenario and design specific behavior for it.

I have just remembered a fact about BOTW that probably not alot of people had realized!!! Octoroks (besides the rock/lava octoroks) ALWAYS miss twice, then attack with precision!!

Man, this game is a masterpiece.

You know what would be interesting to see is if you can get Lord of the Mountain as your mount in the Dark Beast Ganon fight, seeing as whatever you last mounted becomes your horse for the fight, it would make sense if Lord of the Mountain could be your horse mount. It is rather interesting that they made texture changes to the pillars before the final release of BotW. Also in the E3 trailer for BotW it shows a cottage, it's bit of a shame we couldn't see some cottages like that scattered throughout Hyrule, because you mostly just see burned down settlements and small villages and huts in secluded remote areas, having more towns and such would of been nice to visit along your travels where you can stop and meet NPCs. Even around stables would of been nice if there was a few houses next to these settlements, and it would also make the Stables as a sort of central hub for the localized communities where people can sleep at the Stable's Inn, register and keep horses, as well as bartering exchange with a few shops to buy things from.

Something I recently noticed: if you are just walking around with a sword and shield drawn, your left hand will be clenched on the shield strap, but if you go to throw your weapon, and angle the camera down, you can see that your left hand is now opened.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but the Champion Helmets received from their respective Champion amiibo all have the same heath revealing bonus that the Hero's Tunic has. I'm pretty sure it goes unmentioned and I figured it out accidentally

If you pick up a dead guardian with crayon is or something, there are 2 ancient parts under it. However, I found one in Faron that has a whole dead guardians worth under it

I knew most of these up to the tips of the wild, except for holding a jumping attack (not sure what the difference is), but all the ones after were new to me.

my favorite is the shield one , imagine , BOTW was a pay to win

From a software development perspective, I'm very curious as to how they id the shields that are sold, or in fact, possibly every weapon. I mean, being able to buy the shield right from the enemy's hands, probably means that the shield itself is not destroyed and recreated on the enemy, but stays persistent. So it is the matter of interaction with the shield that is interesting, like you could pick up a normal shield with X(don't remember button names), but those specific shields are coded to signal the sellers when interacted with?

The metal weapons that npcs have are recognized by magnesis, but not yoinkable

im not sure if this has been done or if its too small to mention, but i recently just found that at least in some place, such as the lamps at the entrance to the main building in gerudo town, little swarms of moths appear around them

I was messing around in botw and found an interesting glitch, if you pull out either of the bombs while you do revailis gale you it has a weird animation, furthermore you can switch out the bomb type. Note: Maybe someone found it before, or its just a feature, if so I apologize.

Here's some things you may not know. If there is multiple broken guardians you can check which one of them is still active by using stasis. If you fight an yiga assasin in thunderstorm it can be struck by lightning. Found out these today

This game has been out for 6 years... how is this possible?

I've spotted something that (I think) is a little weird. When you activate the Great Plateau Tower, you see all the towers rise around Hyrule. But after that, you see the Great Plateau Tower. However, it's a little weird because `Nintendo misplaced the tower in that scene and it's off the Great Plateau. I just thought I'd point that out to you but I haven't done any checking. : )

I still cannot ascertain why exactly Nintendo went out of their way to remove the Zonai towers so late in development. It doesn’t make any sense, no matter how you spin it. My best guess is that Nintendo initially planned on giving the Zonai towers a greater purpose in BoTW but the concept was scrapped at some point in development, yet the towers kept their Zonai design until relatively close to release where they redesigned it to be more generic.
