Pretty crazy to think about, but it really has been that long! Joined youtube in 2006, first videos uploaded in 2007. I cringe at some of the older footage occasionally, but there was always a good time being had when doing it. Everything evolves over time, and it's interesting seeing the changes in the videos. Hopefully that continues, because you should never stop trying to improve yourself or learn new things! (and buy more junk...)
Thanks to everyone who has watched and subscribed over the years!!
And also, thanks to the other channels out there that have been going at it for years providing entertainment!

i do have much respect for what you do in your videos, i talk much about them with many of my (friends/co-workers) and can say that its made me a productive mechanic, sometimes you dont always have the "best" or "ideal" parts or resources.MAKE SHIT WORK... by doing so in the trade you are seen as the "old timer" and people seem to like that, keep on keeping on, and keep those spirits high because you keep many others higher!

One of my most popular videos when I first started was my ford connect express van stuck in the driveway. The van was built in Turkey, and apparently, the Turks were all interested to see how their product was doing, so I became an overnight sensation in Turkey for a few months……

Big fan of the sled videos. Big fan of your quote "this is why you never sell anything." I have a bunch of older sleds and there's not much for relatable content out here. But you, working on the ground, with piles of parts and pieces to get the job done. That really hits home. Thank you for the videos!

I found your KZfaq channel via the Vintagesleds message boards. Talk about a blast from the past! I think people have kind of moved on to Facebook etc for convenience-sake as far as message boards have gone. It’s so hard to say what works on KZfaq. I still think it’s amazing that nowadays we can watch people from all over the world. It was not that long ago that, unless you read something, it was local to you, or you happened to catch it on TV that’s all you could find about a subject.

I remember a few years back watching your videos, I laughed so hard , the humor was hilarious, but then was serious to with the project at hand. I went back and watched all your videos some a few times over , and was always looking forward to a new one. I’m scratching my head that you don’t have a lot more like 50-100 thousand. I posted my first vids when I found I could not post vids longer than a minute on photobucket to share on message forums. I just put stuff up for general entertainment and in some cases to catalog for myself! I like the variety of things you put out. and some channels I quit watching because they become repetitive. or grow "too big" I like the "struggle" so to speak. The ordinary person just gettin' it done in the back yard.

Honestly I enjoy your vids as they are. They have interesting topics. Also there's a bit of humor. So many just do them for the money which gets old as it shows in the quality of them. Yours is not like a lot out there that reminds me of the infomercial format. Dude stick with what you do as they are entertaining with interesting content. I have joined for several years now. I have deleted many but never even thought of doing same with yours. Happy New Year!!!

First video of your's that I ever saw was the full body workout "revival" of the Polaris Indy triple. From my perspective your commentary is every bit as informative and entertaining as the actual builds that you bring to your channel. A feller would not necessarily have to keep his standards low, but Always keep the spirits High! Also - I have about 8 chainsaws. Of which 3 actually run and the rest are "works in pro/regress"

Ya know when your getting old when you start complaining about stuff your grandpa complained about , I think my generation is the first to have our kids ask us to turn the music down !
