150 Hogs Down | Invasive Wild Boar Cull | Feral Pig Shooting | 308 Win & Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XP50

This feral pig cull we definitely had warm barrels with 150 hogs down in two nights. Shooting these invasive wild boars & feral pigs in Australia is recorded via thermal hunting equipment during a professional feral control program. All shooting is in the darkness to maximise efficiency using stealth thermal hunting equipment. These feral pigs are a huge environmental and agricultural menace in Australia and are classed as invasive pest species. This is purely pest control, no animals are shot for consumption. Bacterial and diseases like brucellosis are prevalent in these areas.
Lets go shoot some pigs, there's plenty of action packed killshot footage & video clips with the thermal gear !!!
I'm shooting the following rifle in this video:
* 308 Winchester - Ruger American Predator 18". Fitted into a MDT Gen 2 LSS chassis, running reloaded ammunition with 150 grain Hornady SST projectiles. Suppressor fitted is made by Shawmac Industries. My thermal scope is the new Pulsar Thermion 2 LRF XP50 Pro. For a scanner I'm running my Helion 2 XP50 Pro.
I am a vertebrate pest control - contract shooter in NSW. For those wondering about the suppressor I hold the necessary permit in NSW to do so. If seeking information regarding that, please check the FAR webpage for details.
All shooting is performed on privately owned farms, with exclusive permission granted in writing for paid services.

I understand that. I don't care about humane as much when you're talking about an invasive species that does so much damage and they're an infestation like this. Kill as many as you can, as fast as you can and save your homeland species and land.

@@shaungolding5599 - And I agree with you. No one should intentionally cause cruelty but I'm not taking another shot on that one when I know it's going to die and miss 2 others. This is a plague. I cannot imagine how much destruction these monsters are causing. Anyone intentionally causing cruelty, getting enjoyment out of suffering, is very sick mentally. But we absolutely HAVE to get this job done. These are literally mass producing monsters. But I agree. Your principle is flawless.

@bigboars1out is also a great channel to watch. Not only does he humanely drop the pigs but he also uses the meat. I drop and let rot pigs so absolutely not against that. @huntingwithstu is another channel. I think all these boys actually know each other as they are from NSW I believe.

Your channel has inspired me get a QLD shooters licence, join a club and now have a NSW rec hunting licence , I also have a .243 Horizon, a Rossi .22, plus a .308 and a gamo .22 air rifle . Thanks again Nathan for sharing your fine shooting and taking out problem animals. Just my opinion, but I think your one of the best shots I’ve seen in hunting videos. Hitting moving targets takes a steady hand and proper lead, you do good at both. The people in your area should buy you ammo and thank you for all the good you’ve done for the land. Prior to the Sourgum harvest they were impacted by pigs $20-40k of damage a day across the farm 😳

With a 150 carcasses out there the air is going to get pretty ripe for a few weeks or are there that many scavengers to clean up the left overs? Thanks for sharing

We can have certain semi auto's if the licencing requirements are met. I may or may not, will depend on how much shooting like this I get work for.
