I think there is issue in EGR or head gasket. Somehow coolant is sipping into combustion chamber & getting burned to exhaust white smoke. As it's a major expense Hyundai is waiting the warranty to be over. Better to force them to resolve the problem at the earliest.

Or engine oil and coolant is getting mixed and are combusted. Engine oil and coolant is sleeping in combustion chambers or turbo problem

Yes, GDI, TSI and Boosterjet Engines has the issue of carbon build up on the intake valves. Toyota introduced port injection for their GDI Engines to mitigate these issues. Valves should be closed and needs walnut blasting at the intake valves to clear the carbon. But usually it happens at 1,00,000 kms for VW TSI Engines but we are new to these engines and we don't know if this can happen this early. There could be many reasons for carbon build up to happen early but it is inherent design flaw of the GDI engines for carbon build up. Usually it starts with low fuel efficiency at the start before misfire and white smoke happens.

Sir humari pass Hyundai Verna SX 1.5 mpi 2021 hai usme bhi same fuel pump motor ki dikkat aayi thi, long routes pe hi ye dikkat aati thi , fir ye company ne under warranty change Kiya fir uske baad dikkat nahi aayi fortunately 😊

It could be a turbo oil leak, turbo is leaking engine oil into intake air, engine oil burning would cause white smoke.

I also got same problem of fuel motor pump in Hyundai i20 sportz, service centre changes this pump and now the issue resolved....but main concern is the same the guy in the video said, why the pump got stuck in 15 to 20k km .... Hyundai needs to think about it

I own a kia sonet htx turbo imt and I have completed 53000 kms in 3 and half years. Regarding engine I have no complaints, it is very powerful but now by the time passed I am facing knocking issue with the gearbox after 30000 kms and also I had got steering column replaced 2 times under warranty because of a very irritating noise from the steering on bad roads as well as on turning the steering fully but the same issue continues till now and now my warranty period is also over.

Vw and skoda got a image of high maintenance and expensive running cost so they are able to market turbo engines easily. Honda-toyota said buy ones and forget so if they give turbos they need to make sure their audience is also listening to them otherwise it will hurt brand image

I am facing the same alignment issue with my creta 2021 it’s going on the left and some service centers are saying it normal some are admitting the fault, did 15+ times alignment in last 20k kms (10+ times in service centre) but not one solves its (even the steering rack is replaced under warranty)

white smoke means that the lubrication oil is getting burned inside cylinder. the piston rings, piston and cylinder needs to be checked.

Hyundai ki cars jo verna tak sari cars hai sab me ek common problem hai.. car thode time bad left ko khichti hai.. kitna bhi allignment karva lo. Aur compressor kai bhi issue to sab kar me hai. Achi baat hai ye dikat inko nahi ayi. Paint quality is also an issue. but fir bhi kafi had tak paint issue ab resolved hai.

Sir maine Kia Sonet chalai hai 1.0L iMT 3 saal, 75,000km plus...Usme mujhe engine se related bas ek baar problem aai thi, mysteriously uska camshaft toot gya. Service centre waalon ke pass koi jawab nahi tha kyu but vo warranty mei replace ho gya, after that no problems.

All turbo car has intercooler irrespective of diesel or petrol. Turbo generates lot of heat that needs to be cooled down that why intercooler is used…

I have been a hyundai customer for 11 years... But I can undoubtedly say their service has degraded to a point where you actually take a completely fit car to their workshop and comeback with issues once service is done... in one of my services after the wash their was condesation on my i20 info screen.... and it is still there.... next I also had an accident I had to leave my car at the bodyshop..... First they completely ruined the interior for the time the car was there... and the best part is there was no work required on the interiors...... and then to clean not sure what chemical they used... they whipped of the chrome from places on the ac knob... and the hazard light sign was also completely removed.... My cousin has a verna, he also faced a lot of issues... in one of our services both my i20's and his verna's washer pump stopped working "after" service.... I love hyundai's and I do feel the followup is good after service also... they will come to you if you face issues... but still I don't get it why there service is so unpredictable now.... I hope this improves... I want to buy a hyundai again..... hopefully such experiences don't happen with a new car.. talking of new cars my brother in law just purchased Nios and just few days after that the engine light came on .. and didn't go for almost a week... so yes experiences like that need to be avoided
