OOOF!! the INFJ one hits hard, we always immediately try to understand our enemies' point of view and always statistically and theoretically check(overthink actually) if it's really them or just us being faulty but if they prove that it's them, it all comes down to a "yeah, i hate you" then proceeds to flush down everything we overthink about them and lastly consult to someone close just to reassure 😂

Nah, that's what KZfaq and minions are for. Either I can find a tutorial on KZfaq to fix the problem myself, or I can call a handy minion, and it can become their problem. When I was in elementary school, one of the treats for being good and finishing my work early all the time was being sent to the school office to mimeograph things for the teacher. This was later replaced with photocopying. I've been fixing paper jams since I was 7. And one of the most fun things I learned how to do in my dad's store was making duplicate keys. I do sometimes like having physical problems I can solve with my hands. It goes with the Se. I love untangling knots -- like, literal knots. I also did well in shop class. And I know how to do multiple feminine handicrafts (sewing, latchhook, knitting, weaving cooking) because I'm a girl and it was expected of me. The inanimate object problem is more like "I have left the TV remote somewhere unusual" or "Someone dropped something on the floor and I have stepped in it/on it (my floors at home are kept clear of all debris for fear of tragically stupid accidents). Also tripping over my own feet. Doesn't matter how many dance classes I excel in, I will sometimes botch my "walking" roll. I have kicked a sprinkler head. Also dislocated my knee tripping on carpet, and now I know when it's going to rain. Oh, yeah, and I threw out my entire back walking down the hallway of my home that I walked down every day.

This is what I'm constantly saying. Thank goodness for therapy. Sometimes we don't even realize how far we've come until we watch an amazing KZfaq video that highlights our more vulnerable side. "My Own Worst Enemy" by Lit used to be my theme song for a long time. In the past I would listen to it and get sad while I spent the day over-thinking things. Now, I can laugh along with the song. Btw, I've been in therapy for years. But that's due to having a toxic family and abusive childhood. Not feeling like your the problem or you are your own worst enemy takes time. The amount of time needed will depend of each individual. We all have different reasons for feeling like we are our own worst enemy. Therapy can help find the root cause. Good luck everyone.

As an INFP, (and if some of the commenters remember me from your other recent video that I commented on), I can confirm, our enemies don't know they're our enemy, or that we're out to get them. Sometimes, we've already exacted revenge and they don't know what hit them. It's mystical and magical how our invisibility sometimes comes in handy, like, no one notices when we're mad at them. But it's not like INFPs don't stand out, just perhaps, not in that way... not like we're a threat or villain or anything... not until it's too late.

@@niiskuneitiBANAANI true. And maybe it's just me but i also am unaware that I'm holding a grudge against someone until it builds up and they affect the few friends i have or innocent people, until I'm not the only one affected by their actions. I'll take and take, and think it's fine, until i see that it's not just me who they're affecting. But revenge is quite tiresome. It takes a lot out of me as an empath. So much so that, as I commented in the other video, seeing my nemesis down in the dusk and defeated, talking about how their fall will affect their family (reputation) and siblings for years to come, and even if i knew they deserved it, my heart ached for this person's pain. Noteworthy that I didn't even follow through with getting them completely punished for their actions. This person never learned from their wrongdoing as karma. They started bullying people who they thought might have written the letter of revelation as i like to call it. (It was a tricky revenge that involved an anonymous letter and some evidence.) I also didn't witness them bullying people, as I moved out of that toxic and politically corrupt environment. I learned that instead of dealing with it head on, sometimes - not always - you just have to leave

In junior high, a girl jokingly said "No one cares" to me when I was trying to get someone's attention. Even though she was joking, it started my brain spiraling into a depression that lasted for a couple of years and took a lot of work to get out of. She has no idea of the impact she had on me and outside of that one time, she's been friendly. It took a long time to be able to look at her in any positive light. In late high school I considered telling her that I forgive her, but there's no way she would've remembered saying that to me anyway. And she wasn't being serious. Now I never even see her and I'm kind of annoyed that I still remember that (I probably will for the rest of my life). So a little unsolicited advice from a Highly Sensitive INFP: words have a lot of power, so be careful what you say. And on the other hand, not everything is meant to be taken personally
@angel_cat
@angel_cat Жыл бұрын
INFPs are all really sensitive. And we hear everything as though it's personal so it should not have to be hard to see us want to take revenge or stuff. It's just, i guess, they don't see us as a threat. And naturally some of us aren't a threat. Most of the time, I'm not. I once did similarly, went up to a girl i hated (more like, i asked to speak with her after class) and said I'm sorry because i didn't like her and because i thought she hated me. She replied, "hate is such a strong word. I don't hate you." We still were indifferent to each other after college and stuff but yea, i felt what she said. It's just this grey area where we don't hate each other but just don't like each other so much either. Because we're empaths, it takes a lot to learn how NOT to be affected by these things.
@coloraturaElise

You acknowledge multiple times that she had no ill intention, so she is hardly responsible for your reaction to her throw away comment; you did that to yourself. I don't know how old you are now, but I remember when I was a teenager, I thought too much about other people's comments and reactions to me, until I woke up one day and realized it wasn't all about me. That one thought changed me for the better and it's the mostly unsolicited advice I give to you. FJ said the same thing in the INFP sketch when he said the enemy was his mind......SO true!
@lailanitukuafu
@lailanitukuafu Жыл бұрын
@@coloraturaElise Well yes, I know that. That's why I said I'm frustrated that I even remember it. Because the whole time it was obvious to me that I was the problem. It wasn't so much that I blamed her for my feelings. But it was difficult not to associate that starting comment with my depression. FJ's sketch is what inspired this story in the first place, actually. And I did say "Not everything is meant to be taken personally," didn't I? Not everything is about me, but I can't get away from my own brain.

Even tho im an ENFP, i relate to it as well. One time in math class the teacher teaches us on how to use a formula on the calculator. I used an older version of the calculator that my brother left and I don't have the formula so I told my teacher about it. He then told me to replace my calculator into a newer one, and then joked that I should replace my brother with him. I laughed as first but then I became super down that I couldn't study properly. I closed all my books and notes and started sketching on a piece of paper. I later confronted him and he kinda apologized but it still hurts. Thank God that I have a bunch of good classmates to help me and PE class where exercising helped me to be less down about it. Or else I might be depressed the whole day lol For now i just dont care math class and just let it rot- definitely not a good a mechanism but yeah- 🌚😂 to be honest tho i think i would need some more time to fully forgive him

I tend to always try to put myself into their shoes or give them some slack, but... It tends to be people who are rude, insulting, selfish, and hurtful on purpose. Everyone and I do mean everyone hurts my feelings sooner or later but they don't mean to. Like if I annoy them or let them down or they have a bad day....I pick up on that and its a gut punch. Its really annoying if you know someone can't stand you but they don't come out and say it to your face....but I can feel it. Or you can pick up on their thoughts about you reading between the lines of what they say. I don't need to hear it to know when someone is talking sh!t about be behind my back. I’m an ISTP-T and for me it’s more of glare at them from across the room, avoid them, and stay mostly quiet while they are talking to the person I’m hanging out with, mainly because I know I shouldn’t be rude but I can’t stand being around them and if I spoke I would be very rude because I’m a very blunt person. So I’m just standing there internally screaming and hoping that they leave or that I can escape. If it gets really bad I start fuming because it’s all bottled up and I might explode or leave no matter what’s happening to escape and decompress.

As ENTP's we can often have too many ideas. So if there's conflict we can end up settling on a reason why which is far more convoluted than what has actually happened. As smiley as I usually am, they will get the death stare or stink eye. I don't know how people can be fake and act like friends around people they don't like. It's rare I don't like someone as I'm usually understanding even if they hurt me, so if I don't like you, it must be something serious, and it's usually in the selfish, fake, or bullying category

And I also know full well, heart and soul, that I don’t want and should not have an anxiety-inducing, toxic person like her ever in my life again.
