Spent three days off road in central Arizona during the last week of 2023. Starting at the San Domingo Wash near Wickenburg, I went on the hunt for abandoned mines. This trip would take me up into the mountains and through Crown King, then across I-17 into Bloody Basin and down into Seven Springs and Cave Creek. Total mileage on dirt was around 160 miles.
In this video we start the journey by making a pit stop at the Dragon Mine, check out some other abandoned mines, and severely scratch the Pathfinder going down a trail I should not have been on.
