Spent three days off road in central Arizona during the last week of 2023. Starting at the San Domingo Wash near Wickenburg, I went on the hunt for abandoned mines. This trip would take me up into the mountains and through Crown King, then across I-17 into Bloody Basin and down into Seven Springs and Cave Creek. Total mileage on dirt was around 160 miles.
In this video we head down towards Sheep Bridge, which made me contemplate changing the final route due to a rough trail. In the end we stayed the course and finished in Cave Creek after revisiting an abandoned mine from a previous video, which you can see in one of the links below.
