As a native of Antakya/Turkey, I would like to thank you very much for the loving images about our region that you shared in this video. As you know, Antakya in your video was unfortunately destroyed by the earthquake of February 6, 2023. I believe that you experience the love of those people within you, just like we do. Dear Yan, despite your young age, you add great color to your life by winning the love of people you may never meet again. I hope the love in your heart never ends. Have a nice trip.👏👏❤️❤️❤️❤️

They are insights to how humans are so fundamentally the same but at the same time so variable in our cultural evolution. You deserve much larger audience! I will spread my enthusiasm to all my friends

Yan, i feel like i wanna leave a comment to you while i am tearing up the moment i am writing this comment. May god bless u keep making many heartwarming videos, you are actually a unifying force and making this world a better place. You shown us how beautiful abd how kind the ordinary people of each country could be, just like the ordinary people of your home country, china. We have had so much of negativity from the internet, from the famous western news outlets, from social medias, and discovering you and your channel is one of the best thing happen to me in 2023. I literally love you, Yan!❤ Love from Malaysia.

I am a 70 yo grandmother. Widow. IFit & healthy. I’ve enjoyed very much your experience via your videos. And importantly I’ve been so inspired and motivated to go travel world by myself. Is it possible for me to be friends with you & hopefully learn from you? I’m thinking what if I can inspire people in my age group to get out of their comfort zone and venture out on their own? Thank you for sharing. I hope to hear from you soon.

I had been to Malaysia once years ago. I didn't think I'd ever go back. Because of your video, I decided to give it a second try. I am still in Malaysia and having an amazing time. I already have plans for 2023 but 2024, I will visit Georgia and Armenia because of your videos. I do not like travel videos and usually ask KZfaq to not recommend them. I cannot remember why I started watching your video on Malaysia but I became an instant fan. Your enthusiasm, sincerity, pure joy, attitude of gratitude, a genuine desire and openess to learn, and the way you teach (by sharing what you've learned and not just preaching) make your videos the only travel videos I watch, enjoy, love and share. Keep traveling. Keep making your videos. You cannot imagine the lives you touch and change for the better. I, for one, am grateful for you.

Hi Yan, I don't know where to start, what a way to conclude season 1 and your amazing journey. For me I have watch many youtuber's over the years traveling the World. But none have provoked so many emotions within me as your journey, I can tell you your last video made me so emotional, don't ask me why I cannot find the words to do it justice. You are a fearless person in many ways but with a passion for people and there lives, you have shown us the real World we live in not what media or conflict and politics and religion tell us. This is the beauty of your channel Yan and the insight of your life and experiences, help to show the viewer to open there eyes and there minds . I think I told you last time how I would now myself wish to visit Iran, what a beautiful Country people, food, culture, and history. I'm so looking forward to season 2 and your homeland of China, and I have friends in Vietnam and hope to visit Asia one day soon. I knew this would end up being a very long comment, as your videos prompt so much deep thoughts, so I predict your channel will become very successful Yan. Keep going and I'm looking forward to the next journey with you. TC Steve from the UK

I decided to watch another one which is this one, I am very impressed and watched every second of this 1 hour and 24 minutes video, it is so inspirational. I really love these because you are not showing the hype and popular places of most countries, but I saw a lot of sincerity during your travel and meeting up with the local people. I was a traveller myself, and stop few years back because of adulthood problem, liabilities etc.... and I miss those travelling times. Thank you so much for bringing back the memories and my triggering back my passion. Keep up the good work and stay safe and healthy always 😃 God bless🙌

Wow, that was the best vlog I've watched. I was getting disappointed near the end, because like a good book, I didn't want it to finish so soon. There are so many things I could ask you, about different places and people that you met and visited, but not one stood out above from another. They were all as lovely and friendly as the place before. The misconception the West has of Arab countries, goes down to a massively successful propaganda campaign by the Americans. Thankfully, the world is moving on from hearsay and onto lasting friendships based on truth. Thank you so very much, this was a pleasure to watch.

I had my doubts whether I'd be able to watch it from beginning to end, but the whole vibe of the video, your way of showing the different sides of each country and their respective culture, and also your interaction with the people, was so mesmerizing that I didn't realize I watched it until the end of the video. Your passion and deep interest for learning about the culture of these countries is endearing. Thank you so much for sharing this and I hope that you fulfill your dream as you completely deserve it.

This was a wonderful reminder of some of the best moments of your travels so far. The biggest surprise to me was Iran - I’ve never really thought of visiting, but you’ve highlighted the great people too often hidden behind the negative headlines. This is the truly great and unique thing about your channel - so many places and experiences I’ve never seen before, and conveyed with such genuine enthusiasm and knowledge. In Nepal, I admired your decision to stop the trek after one day. It’s important to push ourselves, but also to recognise our limits. For many years I’ve dreamed of visiting Everest, but I’m just not built for extreme trekking! I know I will find another way one day. Disappointing you couldn’t enter Vietnam (I’m fascinated by that country) but fate gave you a different experience in Malaysia. I am so looking forward to your future travels, but for now I’m sure you have earned a good rest! Sorry for my long, rambling comment, but I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas, and very best wishes for the new year ahead 💜

Because there are many you tubers I was skeptical coming upon your channel. As I watched, I grew more and more intrigued and found that you have the brave spirit of a solo traveler and you even recognize that you are not ultimately alone. You traveled with others of similar spirit and made life long friends along the way in every country. You also keep your family informed while logging countless kilometers through many countries. I say these things because tho I am not a youtuber, I have traveled similarly and been asked many times, are you alone? I sometimes said, “I am meeting my husband in a week.” Depending upon the country I was in, I would say yes when I felt safe enough to, then they would react in so much surprise and I would tell them ‘the secret’. You are never really alone unless you want to be. We are all so connected as members of a species who share languages and are built for connecting in the cyberspace of the human mind. So I thank you so much for your gentle, wise spirit and especially for including the history and knowledge, the diversity and artistry that goes with the cultures you are visiting. If anything we need to know and appreciate our immense cultural diversity as a species and choose a path away from conflict towards our shared humanity. Caveat: Not being a youtuber, I wrote a book instead during the ‘time-out years’, about similar travels especially in the Himalayas and China. It’s called, ‘Chasing the Wind Horse’, you can find it on Amazon. You have to look in kindle books for it though. Look for the photo of the Great Wall on the cover. There are many photos inside too. Again thank you for your bravery and intellectual fortitude.

I’m so jealous of you lol 😭 Your videos give me the inspiration to visit Turkey again and perhaps the countries nearby as well. I totally agree with you that Turkish people in general are very warm, friendly and helpful especially to tourists. Keep safe and looking forward to many more of your adventures. PS: Your China vlogs are equally amazing! I hope to be able to visit there one day 🤩

The generosity and hospitality of those people you met are incomparable. I agree that when you venture to the countryside you would be met with those people who are more humble and have a big heart compared to the urban people.

Initially I thought of this as a lenthy video and hesitated to watch. After watching for ten minutes your distinct narrative and the dronagraphy compelled me to watch the video to the end. You have shown how the media is biased about the world. Thank u for such a wonderful documentary.

Yan, I have been watching your vlog and like everyone of them. One comment I would like to make about the shuttle bus ticket for everyone is, it's necessary from the perspective of protecting the surrounding environment of the waterfalls. Imagine that private vehicles are allowed in right to the water front, you would have to build roads, parking right around the falls, plus the traffic, it will totally destroy the serenity, and causes more pollution to this beautiful scenery spot. It does cost 30 RMB more for the tourists who have their own vehicle s, but it is a tiny price to pay. Thank you for your great work.
