Hi Kev, I am very pleased with the quality of this new loco. I have been very happy with YouChoos in general. They are responsive and answer my questions quickly and to my satisfaction. I have a lot of questions too. I finally rid myself of the last of my TTS decoders. They are just not up to the task on my layout. I don't enjoy surprises and TTS decoders are full of them. Hi Dave, I have had good luck with YouChoos. They have always been responsive to my questions and have good instructions on their website for more complex installs. John, who I think owns the business, always returns my email within a few hours normally. When there has been a problem, they have solved it to my satisfaction quickly. I do like their immersive drive. The braking situation is different every time you want to stop and controlling the brake yourself, or hitting the coast button is very pleasing and gives you that perfect control. I must have 10-12 of their systems by now. I hope Santa brings you everything you want this year. All the best, Rob

Hi Kev, I have noticed that, but I put a cranked coupling in the wagon next to it and the push-bars meet at the same height. I have that same problem with some manufacturer's wagons too. Some are mounted lower than others. The whole OO Gauge coupling thing is annoying. It seems like each manufacturer are trying to make everyone else look like they are not "playing well with others," but it is obvious to me there is no standard everyone is adhering to. There are standards around (think NMRA), but they all take off in their own directions anyway. I just try to adapt. Thank you for watching and your thoughtful comment, Rob

I remember a few years ago getting Heljan Dogfish wagons and the couplings drooped so much they wouldn't couple to each other. I got round it by using the Bachmann air hose connector supplied with all Bachmann coaches, not ideal but it solved the problem

@@redkevful It isn't just Heljan though. I have the same problem with Bachmann and Hornby too. I have been going through my couplings slowly, replacing them and correcting the height with NEM sockets. There are so many lousy mating connections it is taking a lot of time. Hi Jim, I noticed mine was a little stubborn at first. Through persistence I did come off. It seems to want one end to start and then the other comes too. At first, I thought it had body clips like Hornby, so I put my paddles up along the sides near the ends to try and get it off. The instructions say it lifts off so my advice it to just keep working it till it comes off. Now that I have had mine off and, on several times, it slips off easily and goes back just the same.
