Hay bro I really appreciate your videos I have the 97 eagle talon esi and I have turbo it , I just upgraded the cam to briancrower stage two and was setting up the timing mark one have it incorrectly installed the exhaust side . I had it up straight just like the intake. After watching one of your videos I noticed that you have the exhaust pointing down . So I have done some damage but you save me . Now after you set up the base timing how do you adjust the intake and exhaust cam gears .

So happy i bought my 2g its rough but she is a keeper. Idk if i got time to make vids.

I have a couple questions for you. 1. Do you have a built motor and what timing belt are you using? I'm worried for you on the manually adjusted timing belt tensioner. Those tend put a lot of strain on cams, 1st bearing and last bearing causing cam bearing caps to loosen. They are also crazy strenuous on the belts. So are you running a kevlar or metal strand belt to prevent the hard stretch? When your belt warms after hard pulls how are you overcoming the possibility of slight timing retard/advance due to the belt not being as tight? Have you thought about a really good hydraulic tensioner like an IAG or Hybrid Racing tensioner? You'd save a LOT of stress in the future. 2. Voltage Regulator - It doesn't make sense that you had to add an aftermarket regulator. Was it possible that the one on the alternator died thus needing a new regulator? There is the double plug on the back of the alternator. One wire runs to ignition to tell the stator to turn on and the other feeds what the voltage is to the regulator in order to self manage. Am I confusing everything and you needed an aftermarket regulator to further limit the voltage swings? I ask all these because, Im building a '98 2GNT. I have the motor and trans out and Im fully building it and the head. I don't want to have to do timing work after putting the engine back in. LOL Saves me some stress.

Hi, I have the same build going on. But I have a question about the oil catch can. My catch can seems to fill up very fast. within a day or two of driving. How often do you have to empty your can out? My setup is a little different with one inlet, one outlet, and a breather on the top 90degree elbow.

Would you be willing to share you tune? I can't seem to even find a decent starting point for a turboed 420a.

What exhaust bolts/nuts did you use? I couldn't find anything for my 420A. Everything is for the 4g63. Was hoping I would find new exhaust manifold hardware to avoid re-using my current ones and snapping them from being old & rusted.

I have the opportunity to get a eclipse rs(420a) for really cheap. is it worth it or should I just wait to get a gs(4g63)?
