Weather was mint so we headed north to target the reef species and what a trip it was. We travelled over 400km using the sounder to find new ground. Hope you enjoy.

Amazing looking trip there that is for sure. how long were you up there on this trip? certainly, incredible conditions that are for sure. What electronics do you run? as I am trying to get ideas for my next boat as we are heading for Bundaberg to live Cheers Garry

Hey Renee ! We use a lot of whole squid baits, whole mullet fillet , anything fresh and fairly large for the red emp!

Nice one mate, I got there every year for a week and last year September was insane, we caught 6 coral trout, 2 cobia loads of hussar and so,e reds as well! Just wondering what reef is this?

Thanks! I only just saw this comment but if the weather is good we will give it a go if a few months! I live down in the gold coast so for now I’ll just be chasing the Macks and the snapper
