This is the part two you asked for after I made the first Dangerous Motorcycles video. Sorry it has taken so long. This time it is the motorcycles that came later. More modern bikes, that still have that certain dangerous gene.
Each and every one has something that separates them from the average. Whether that is speed, absolute power, or something else that makes them special.
part 1 is here

I started riding a motorbike in the 80's , a Z1 Z900. I now am the proud owner of a ZZR 1400 2016, the most incredible roadbike ever made. Cruise it effortlless at 40 miles an hour in sixth gear or launch it like a rocketship and pass the 300 km/h within the blink of an eye. The smoothest engine you will ever drive.

I hit the like button in the very beginning out of respect for the 1st list, as for your 2nd list, that is the coolest list of motorcycles I have ever watched, seen, or read about. I of course know the basic Japanese and European bikes, I own a 21' GSXR1000R. There are a few in the middle that I have never heard of, although I did hear about the rotary bike at the end. The only place I'm interested in vacationing outside of the USA would be the ISLE OF MAN!! If I won a big lottery, which I won't because I don't play it either, I would buy that rotary bike, and the insane V8 bike with the 2 R1 motors because they sound amazing. I would take those 2 bikes and my GSXR to the Isle of Man for a month long vacation. Thank you for the fantasies lol. Great video!!

not at all mate, Im just a normal (hmm maybe thats stretching it) biker. i guess a lot of luck and passion helped lol. Ive had a lot of bikes over the years, so many that i did finally have to admit there was such a thing as too many 🙂 im thinning them out now and down to around ten 🙂 but i lived just down the road from Ron Haslam, was riding at donnington before the cct was even finished, and have always had many friends in and around the industry (Granby's, Len Manchester, Dream Machine, Metmachex, Spondon engineering, Mallory Park, Cadwell, Donnigton,Triumph, Ducati, Kawasaki, Yamaha, MV Agusta and Cagiva) again, luckily ive owned many bikes that other people wanted to ride, so ive had lots of opportunities for short term swaps. I spent years doing trackdays but im not a racer. also a 7spannerman who had the privelidge of knowing Terry Beckitt among others, so tuning became 2nd nature, especially when flow dynamics became part of my job 🙂 you could say, i've been around the block a few times lol. hope that explains things a bit 🙂 dont miss the Mason Klein interview, tomorrow at 6pm GMT !!!!!

I have a V-Max, i'm also 52 lol, it's a 95 full power job, standard except for drilled out exhausts as they are far too quiet standard, it's very comfortable and easy to ride but when it hit's 6K all hell breaks loose, huge surge and the tach flashes round, really is something else, interestingly the V-Max will run the same 1/4 mile time as the Gen 1 Busa (i also have one of those), purely down to low down torque and shorter gearing, after that though the Busa would destroy the Max which runs out of steam at 130 (if you have the ballls to do 130, on one i certainly don't), i had the Busa at 140 and it felt like it was just getting into it's stride.

I can't remember, was the TL1000S on the first list? To potentially answer the KTM price question, in the UK there's currently double duty if there's imported components on the item. There's questions over what has duty, the default is to charge it as HMRC can come after the importer at a later date for the duty

I've been riding since I was 5, started on a old little mini bike. That was 55 years ago and my last bike was a Triumph Daytona 955i until a P Plate driver cleaned me up, destroying the bike and costing me a finger and adding some metal to this already broken body of mine. The bikes on this list, I could guarantee that I would literally sh#t myself if I jumped onboard one, even though I've been riding for so long. But I can appreciate them for what they are and the amount of tech that's gone into building them is astonishing, hats off to the guys that ride these bikes. Thanks for putting this list together mate, this video didn't disappoint just like the last one. Oh and by the way, these videos aren't long enough, so please don't make them any shorter 👍

You kept the best till last!! The Crighton CR700 Rotary would be my choice if $$ was no obstacle. That's because sheer grunt without good "natural" handlng (without the 'need' for electronics) is no comparison to this bike, although it's never been tested against other track bikes but has incredible potential. Best value for $$ is the Hyabusa since it's so easily tuneable and lots of good used ones available. But the track filters out all of them imo. A local guy here in Ottawa, Canada is more into drag racing and consistently has over 450 RWHP using a Garret turbocharger and there have been several examples of around 600 RWHP. So power is not the winning factor. It's the combination of handling and rideability that sets any of these bikes apart - as well as the sound, the feeling and sheer riding experience.

I have a 2006 Gen 1 Busa, got it 18 months after i passed my test in 2020 aged 49, had a K4 Gixxer 600 as a fist bike then a Ducati Monster 696 (both now sold), the Busa has been amazing, so easy to ride, cant see myself ever parting with it, huge grunt and torque but very controllable, it's more sports bike than sports/tourer though, still slightly wrist and back achey on longer rides, no where near as bad as the Gixxer which as torture lol, fitted a 1" bar riser and it's made it a bit better, it's very docile at low speeds but will easily turn into a ballistic missile .

I am 66 years old and ride a 2012 Victory Cross Country Tour. I have so much fun riding the old hot rod. It for a cruiser can burn a pretty good corner, but never try to go more than twice the posted corner speed limit. It may be fine to try it a little hotter but I am old and don't heal like I used to. Motorcycles are dangerous for so many reasons that if I don't scare myself every time I ride then I may as well sell it. After all it is about the rush.

Unlike motorcycles of the 60s - 80s, modern motocycles are not inherently dangerous from a design perspective and if properly maintained. As you stated there are multiple electronic control systems in place that increase safery and makes them rideable for a wider range of riders. What makes them dangerous are the riders who lack the right level of experience to ride these superpowerful beasts or who use them on the road as if they are riding on the track.

In my current line up as well as a fair few old 80’s GSXR’s I have two 1999 Hayabusa’s, the one thing that people often neglect to mention is apart from the large power and speed aspect is that the bike has no electronic riders aids, no abs, no traction control, no rider modes and frankly shocking brakes. I know several younger riders who are quick but treat my Busa’s with respect as they know that they can and will bite back. I also have a gen 2 Superduke 1290R and it’s a pussy cat in comparison.

glad you enjoyed it mate 🙂 Theres plenty more on the channel, hope you will look around and find something your interested in. there is more on the website too. and there will be more to come. Cheers for watching. Ride Free 🙂 PS, for future reference, the KZfaq algorithm values comments of 4 words or more the most, so it helps me (and others) if you could use a few more words :-)

I see you've a few off the "Isle of Man" race where they can do as much as the rider can handle, then some more? Interesting to see these beasts but I probably wouldn't ride one if I was offered..... NOT!? I'd ride it or IT would ride me but I'd be too afraid that I might destroy the bike & myself all in one quick.... PooF then Splat ! nice video

The Island is one of the few places left that runs what is effectively an open class race now. The Irish road races are fantastic too (as are Chimay in Belgium and the Czech TT) As to the faster bikes. When/if I ever use all the power of the EXUP's then who knows, but nearly 35 years later i still fall short there lol

Yeah well, I know very little as you've deduced by the type of questions I'm asking.... lol, but I've learned in my life that if you want to know anything you've got to ask people who are smarter than you in the subject at hand. Therefore I've got no problem asking & I'm very appreciative when I come across people who are giving & will share. You sir, are one of those kind of people. And as it were, your channel just happens to have been custom crafted for someone like me. I'll be out here looking at more of your videos, some more than once b/c they are full of info I can't get anywhere. Thank you & peace
