i love how the city, and especially the tower, have no defenses (apart from the guardians) to deal with these kind of attacks also cool how it gives an insight to the city not just the tower

Guys i have a question bassicaly 4k on console is like 4k resolution everything else is on low settings,they are doing this for marketing right ? Wouldnt it be better to be 1080p or 1440p ultra settings ? Will the graphics be better if it runs on 1080p ultra or better on 4k low ?

I'm a PC gaming enthusiast, but I also own the consoles as well. To be completely honest, people need to get a grip. There is absolutely NO WAY that a $400, or a $500 dollar console are going to run most games, if any, at true native 4K60. Even with $2-3000 PC's you can't really achieve it without using multiple (and recent) graphics cards. I'm talking like 2 980ti cards in SLI or better. You can't buy one of those for a price of either console. My point is for the price of either console, especially the xbox one x, what it is capable of is still impressive, but just temper your expectations a little bit. Hell, I would have been happy if they came out and said that it will play at native 1080p with max settings, effects, and textures at 60fps and never dips below 60fps. That should have been the goal for both consoles in the first place, and they didn't deliver on that. I'm not sure why they had to jump on 4k when they haven't even done 1080p right yet. Just my 2 bits though.

Finally on PC... October seems far in the future, cannot wait!!

Been wanting to get an upgraded GPU for a while now, and saw they had Destiny 2 paired with a 1080/ 1080 ti and finally bit the bullet on it. Super hyped to try the beta in August and play any game I want at max settings on the 120hz 1080p monitor. Now I can save up and wait for 2k/4k OLED monitors to be available and experience the true next gen of games.

As some one who loved Destiny 1 (even though it was pretty lackluster when It first launched). I feel like I can jump aboard the hype drain for D2 and I wont be disappointed in the least. I think bungie actually listened to the player base and made this game what we all wanted from the D1 and more.

This looks amazing loved the gameplay of destiny 1 was the best shooting and movement I've played in a game before with the added story and more depth into the lore I think this could fill the hole left by halo
