Who cares if your locks are not growing that fast because they are absolutely GORGEOUS!! I can’t see that you ever had thin hair. It’s just beautiful! I stumbled onto your channel and fell in love with your hair. You really seem nice, so I’m a new subscriber. Looking forward to more videos.

Hello Georgia, KZfaq suggested your videos as ones that may be of interest to me. Date of this video indicates two years ago posted. I viewed April 1 2022. Your locs are gorgeous and my, the progress and evolution!😍 My microlocs are six months old... the bunching and frizz is very intense but I'm hanging in there trusting the process. Hope to view your other videos soon.

I love your videos, I’m getting my sister locks installed June 6th and I can’t wait. You have the same kind of hair as mines so it really makes me feel like it will be okay in the long run. Please don’t stop making videos

I have trimmed my wispies twice since my install...bud balls and all...they just irked me so badly...they still closed/locked. I also used to over spritz and stopped completely and started shampooing once a month right before my retie--which totally works for my hair. I maintain my scalp with seabreeze or TGIN rose water in between by using an old tooth brush to clean my scalp and get any dandruff out. I just hit my year this month on the 8th and like you, I was too excited! Beautiful locs by the way.

Thank you! And omg the toothbrush idea is so good! I'd be waaaaay to neverous to cut my locks though 😬 even now after 2 years haha and I cant believe you wanted to cut them!? My curly ends are like my favourite part 😂. Thanks for sharing your journey 😊👍🏼

@@GeorgiaZarita only the frizzy ends and the budding balls that the ends get before the lock 😀 no problem, others never spoke about the dandruff, you were the only one so I had to share.

I wouldn't trim since your locs are still in the unruly teenage phase. Meaning the ends are still swelling etc. The ends could be buds and you dont want to cut those because it will hinder the locking process. I'd run it by your consultant or two and see if they give you the ok

I'm definitely going to wait a while before I get a trim even though my loctician is urging me to already haha it's literally the last little wispy ends/spit ends that she wants to cut because they're looking a little worse for ware 😄

Your locs are gorgeous! I found that aloe vera gel really soothed my scalp and helped clear dandruff pretty well. Why could you only wash once every 6 weeks? And how come you’ve only just started spritzing? It’s so cold and dry here in the UK, how on earth have you coped?
@GeorgiaZarita
@GeorgiaZarita 4 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Ohh I've never thought of aloe - maybe I'll try it! My hair used to be terrible for unravelling on wash days so I'd only wash the night before my retie so my loctician can fix any problems straight away. I've been spritzing my whole journey but I had a bad habit of over spritzing haha so I had to be super careful. I'm spritzing more often now though and moisturising too! This cold is too much! Haha

Georgia Zarita ah I see 😂 over spritzing 😂. Yea, I love aloe, so good for so many things. I find the juice very conditioning for my locs though I’m in the process of taking this set down and starting afresh with your loctician who recently installed my daughter Sisterlocs - and they’re flourishing ❤️. I use the orange blossom in her hair too but as she’s at primary school I mostly braid her locs back which keeps them pretty well conditioned too. I always wore mine loose. Anyway - your locs are beautiful and I’d of never realised that your hair was more on the fine side prior to sisterlocs. They look to be a gorgeous density.

@@leeceyleece2406 Oh wow! Good to know. Well you are in very capable hands now and I'm sure your new locks will flourish just as your daughters has :) Thank you! I would never guess my hair would become this much fuller. Goes to show how much hair care really helps!

Your locs are gorgeous and the progress is amazing, but who said you can only wash the locs every 6 weeks? Never heard that one before, i'm washing mine every couple of weeks, although it varies depending on when i feel like it. I agree with the drenched hair thing, I like my hair when its freshly washed, they get a bit stiff when they are really dry.
@GeorgiaZarita
@GeorgiaZarita 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks! My loctician told me I should wash my hair every 6 weeks because it was very prone to slippage and frizziness. Its not a thing that everyone has to do 😊
