Looks fantastic! Things you could add... - a vending machine with the bubble front style - pachinko machine - phone booth - ashtray - umbrella holder - 80's street signs - old school train crossing sticks - that round mirror you see everywhere to look around corners - old style bicycle with basket leaning against the wall outside the alley - a bunch of dangling black cables to show all the electrical wires that used to run between buildings (and still do) - a faint pink or purple light outside a corner of the window that periodically blinks and hints at more shops down the street - it'd be super cool if that figure outside the window was dressed in a kimono or you showed laundry draped outside - recreate 80's style print ads using popular guests of the show

This set opens up so many fun opportunities for you! Interviews with you behind the ramen bar would work really well - A ramen shop owner having deep conversations and interviews with many talented customers. The sweet shop and the TV wall are hands down my favourites. We grew up watching Doraemon and shinchan, so these kinda resonate with us a lot when thinking about Japan. Hi Chris!!! What an awesome place! Really brings me back to my youth. I graduated high school in 84. My daughter says that we had the best music. 🎵🎶 Take care and enjoy! 👍👍👍💙💙💙

Chris setting up a studio referencing about 1980's really resonates his boomerness, I love him

I like how everything is *real* and came from *real places* around Japan. To me, it feels like every piece has it's own *story to tell* and once loomed in another place for a long time. Now that each piece has been brought together to live in your studio, they now have a *new life* that's drastically different from their *old life* and it's cool, yet mysterious at the same time. n_n

This is just a gut feeling, but Chris might be in love with the set and is living the dream. Just a feeling though. Can't quite place why :P

Well Chris see what you've done now! Now you're going to need multiple cameras, a feed switch, an operator/ director to make it all seamless while preserving the "live" feel of your productions. Better create a merch store or how about a rare Japanese products sourcing service. I know I'd line up for such a service. I need a handle bar extension for my rare Panasonic 12 speed peddle bike.
