I feel like none of these covers my favorite: The Ultra-cultured Asian girl. You know, the one who plays cello in an international symphony orchestra, has a degree in literature, and spends her vacations flying to archeological dig sites. I've only ever met them in or around concert halls wearing shimmering black one-piece night gowns with wide open backs and a lot of sparkles. I've encountered enough of them to call them a "type".

+sharma prativa I am sorry but the concept to include India and those countries you listed as part of Asia, is such a foreign concept to most people in western countries or people in actual Asia. Actually in fact most people I know consider those countries to be exclusive to Asia as they are brown people. Ethnically or culturally they are not oriental and they are like wannabe Asians for most people...like you eat totally different kinds of food with so much spice and the religion itself is completely different that compared to most Asians. It is getting to be really annoying when those countries claim that they are Asians, it is not like you just claim to be wannabe Asians and all the sudden people in East Asian considers those people to be part of East Asia.

Ellen W Your comment was quite incomprehensible for me, so I was not able to understand what you were trying to say. But whatever your point is, Pakistan, India, Bangladesh and many other countries are located in Asia. Therefore, by the definition and use of the word, people born in those places are indeed asian. Just because their cultures are very different from the Far East asian countries' cultures, by no means they are not asian.
