In case it wasn’t clear enough, this video is meant to be partially satire and poke fun at Minecraft’s least popular features.

You may laugh at the spider eyes as a food source, but when you're trapped in a mineshaft underground during beta 1.8 with cave spiders constantly harassing you, the Poison debuff is worth getting the food back. True story, this was my very first world where I spawned next to a mountain which I built a house into, only to find a mineshaft underground that I got lost in.... I did eventually dig back up, much to my dismay, but I was free soon enough.

I actually do fishing often, it’s a very good way to get early game xp. Also, it would be nice if spyglasses would let us see just a tiny bit beyond chunk limit(Just a tiny bit).

Jack o lanterns are alright, they're kinda like sea lanterns that dont light above and below them. But they tend to require a full pumpkin (that you also have to shear) so you can kinda get why they aren't that popular

No joke I unironically use jack o lanters to help me find my way in caves and in the nether. Since they have a face you can place them so that they face towards the exit/nether portal. Yes, the need to shear the pumpkins makes them more annoying now. But they're much easier to obtain since you can literally grow them

When i quit minecraft, it was 1.17. I thought the wardens were going to be just normal mobs like the Enderman, then some time later i came back and found it was literally a boss 💀

Speaking of the Beetroot part, one time I was living in a Tundra in minecraft for several days and I couldn't find anything else. In my camp, I lived purely off of Beetroot stew since it was the only crop I had on me. I built a Beet Empire.

In my first survival world, I used golden shovels. I had gold and iron, and I knew gold tools were faster. I wanted to flatten an area, so I made a few golden shovels to speed it up. I hadn't explored much of the surface, so I didn't have anywhere to make a minecart track to, and I didn't have enough gold to go very far with it either. I was also playing on peaceful mode so I didn't have any use for golden apples aside from fire resistance, I guess.

Now do one about playing online minecraft wrongly remember: If it's in a chest it's presumed to be available for anyone to take, if you want to keep your stuff safe put it in an ender chest ALWAYs spawntrap people the dragon egg is worth more than your alliance

Well, we get LOTS of glowing arrows when trading, so… maybe there’s no point in crafting?(I forgot they had crafting recipe)

Crafting arrows is just too difficult, flint is kind of rare and it requires a chicken farm. Sometimes you get lucky and find a skeleton spawner by accident very quickly

4:00 fish all the time for enchantments and good rare items. Do it while its raining and hope for a luck of the sea fishing rod to pull from my regular one to get even better stuff 7:32 i thought everyone did this its common knowledge by now

There is one good thing about gold tools. If you just want silktouch for like a few blocks or something, they are very enchantable.

3:04 to me at least 1.17 was a disappointment, because we only got the blocks and mobs, that was it, no new cave generation, no new structures like we were promised and on that note it basically only had a 1/4.5 of what we were promised.

ppl go to the end to fight... meanwhile i say screw it, once i managed to literally breed and tame the ender dragons in vanilla... not even kidding, there was some bug in one snapshot that allowed me to spawn 50 of them and not even get aggroed, i can even make kinda a skyblock playthrough in the end, and the neat part is the fact that you don't get f-ed up by the creepers or skeletons, because there's none

Jokes aside thorns is very underrated. sure maybe your armor breaks faster but you deal average of 3.09 damage per hit now this might not sound very impressive but if we assume your opponent hits you as much as you do thats actually 0.09 damage more than sharpness 5 adds to your sword, so worth considering if you can stack up on enchantment bottles for pvp sessions. And oh right, for pve you dont even need that since everything that you kill will instantly repair the armor its pointless to NOT have thorns.

I'd say it's more of the fact that it's pretty low in priority for enchantments in armor, as someone who usually does villager farms in my worlds, dealing with zombies is painful with a thorn armor. But you do have a point for pvp and pve repairs

@@XayXayYT I personally usually heal the villagers first and transport them later so I havent really had much trouble with mob transporting either. Also a small thing Ive found is you can use beds and work stations if there arent any around to "lure" the villager as its AI will try to get to it.

There is a mod that changes spiders to look like Blue pigs and not make spider noises but do so spider drops. Cute when they jump. For people who have arachnophobia.

There’s two things you missed. You get Bedrock too. And you can use decay potions and arrows and second of all you can play other Minecraft versions, snapshots and pre releases. Which makes up of 99% of Minecraft. If you don’t play on every version, snapshot and pre releases then you have spent your 29.99 wrong.

To be fair, fire charges are simply a eay to re-ignite the nether portal if you've got no flint and steel with you in nether. Because the components of it are: coal, blaze powder and gunpowder, droped from wither skeleton, blaze(duh) and ghast respectively. But one thing I don't know is why that when iron is obtainable in the nether pretty sure and gravel is pretty much abundant

Funny thing is I believe wither skeletons were added in 1.4 and fire charges were added in 1.0. So they took a while to find an actual use

They're much easier to make now that there's lush caves with clay out the wazoo. Only problem is the time spent waiting for all those bricks to cook... really wish we had a special furnace for clay that was double speed
