I have the 2018 Chisel Expert size XL. I upgraded my wheels to Roval Control aluminum and of course went tubeless. My bike weighs in at 23.8lbs. Absolutely love it! So much fun and it’s fast!!

I just built up a Chisel frameset with axs, fox 34 sc, i9 wheels. Waiting on BB and chain. Without BB, chain, and crankset it weights 19.3 pounds.

Question … if you wanted to add a dropper … would the entirety of the cable be externally routed? Or partially ?

I mean alot of people prefer aluminum over carbon I dont know why but I always get those consumers who only want aluminum

@@GCPerformance18 Because, Carbon is Brittle. yes its stiff, maybe repairable, but once it snaps, it snaps. Unlike Alluminium, because of its maleable nature, before it breaks it 1st will show some stress marks. Carbon is good for Pro's since they are sponsored, but to the regular masses, Aluminium is for practicality. thats my standpoint.

Welded better . All there bikes should be welded to the highest standard full stop . Not weld this cheap then sell it cheap. I’m slowly going of of specialized. I feel like they just try to squeeze as much money out the customers as possible. They are Probably just welded on a robot using the Fronius machine in Taiwan . Really isn’t anything special
