It is an old fashion blue radio,my parents had one in brown. Had tubes. The rug can be gently cleaned with cold water and a soft toothbrush with gentle soap. Bookcase had other sections ,I have one that has 5 sections. They were modular. Marvelous pieces.

The teeny chair could always go in a nursery. It's adorable. Or you could put it someplace and put a little pot with a plant in it.

Use some wood soap on the wood pieces to gently clean and then use beeswax polish. Treat like your own antiques. They will be beautiful.

Fantastic finds! For myself I would not cut down the legs on an antique piece. But it is yours so you do whatever you want really give yourself permission. I would have offered them a lump sum price on all the miniatures. They might not have taken it on the first day but usually on the second day sale they will make deals. You can always sell off whatever you don’t want to pay for what you keep. But that is a lot of trouble. If you do keep the chair as is the table could be a side table. Maybe use them in a room box with a larger doll. You can separate them too. You make the rules in your creations. ❤thank you for sharing your finds so excited for you.

Hello Dot, great haul, you got some really cute things, the furniture marked made in Germany would probably have been made in the 1930's or earlier, I don't know if they continued to make dolls house things during the war, Germany was split up after WWII anything made there after that was marked GDR(east) or West Germany from 1945-1990. The rugs are really cute, I've not seen any tobacco rugs for sale over here, we don't have estate sales like you do in the states, I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with all your treasures 😊 I love the bloopers at the end 😂 Best wishes from Yorkshire, England 🇬🇧

Ice went in drawer it was very old ice box. Are you sure round mirror didn't go on vanity? They are the same but someone embellished or copied.

I hope I am not repeating, but there are a lot of comments! Please do not cut down the chair. The table and chair are part of a bentwood parlor set sold in Sears and other catalogs in the early 1900s. The shorter chair is made in Japan c 1940-50s. The needle punched rug is c 1930 and used as a furniture doily or antimasacar most likelyYou got some amazing older German and Japanese pieces for a song! The kitchen set made in Japan may be early Shackman. The tobacco premiums are cigarette silks, the older are wool and silk, later may be rayon blends.
